well, you know... when Britney came out with Femme Fatale, I was really enjoying this album and I still think it's a fun record, however after three years of its release I can tell that it's nowhere as good as her previous work. I fell in love and played it almost everyday back then in 2011, but I cannot listen to it anymore because I simply over-played it and in my opinion it's not a record which will stuck in your head for a long time... A couple years ago, I was saying it's better than Baby One More Time or even her self-titled album, but honestly I could listen to them every single day and they still bring to me so many awesome memories, unfortunately it's not the same with FF, because I'm not gonna lie, it has been released in the worst and hardest time in my entire life. although I'm grateful cuz from time to time it was helping me and I didn't think about my problems all the time. Sadly Britney Jean was the worst thing ever, but you already know my opinion about it...

 

And yep, I agree with this sentence 100%. I don't really get why her newest work is always the most appreciated no matter if it's good or not. I undestand that tastes are different but some people annoy me so much. They will be happy even if she recods a song a la Anaconda or about pissing and shitting only because it says Britney Spears next to the title... I remember we talked about it with BlackoutZone very often because he also hates this behaviour in our base, but oh well we can't help that some fans live in la la land like you've just said

Watch, some fans are gonna say this collab with Iggy is one of Britney's best singles ever released. Just like they say with WB. Britney could cover "I'm a Barbie Girl" and those kinds of fans would say it's a smash and of good quality too. I love Brit, but good music is good music....and bad music....is well.....bad.

exactly! music is music, it's not about artist but quality in my opinion. if something's bad I won't force myself to be loving it only because it's an album from my fave. it seems like some people don't understand it and will do everything for their idol no matter what... it's sad, really sad.

Exactly, it's the main reason I need a break from this forum. Some people on here act like only their opinion is right and when you say something true about Britney or her actual team, they always have a problem and start no needed conversations. I honestly can't deal with people who love everything she does and I try to ignore almost every topic about Britney Jean or Vegas, because when I see at the number of pages I know there's a big discussion about who's right and who's not and I know that if I will share my honest opinion I'm gonna get dragged by some of the "true fans" as they call them. Sometimes I cannot stop myself from commenting but I really think it's better to ignore than say anything at all. I love when some members on here say that we should stop complaining, be positive and appreciate everything   Sorry, but if we pay and support her buying new CDs, DVDs, merchandise and tickets for the shows which cost us a lot of money we can also demand something. I will love Britney no matter what because she inspired me a lot and her music means very much to me but I won't be always saying good stuff about her if she doesn't even care about own fans. And I really hate how people say that it's all because of her team, it's not her fault. Ooh, really? What's the problem with going to the studio in order to record a couple songs? If she wanted to sing, then she would do it and Myah would not be necessary in the process of making an album. Maybe we don't have any real proofs but I know Britney voice very well and no one is going to convice me that she sings every song on Britney Jean, because it's fucking untrue. But oh well, some fans believe that leaked demos which doesn't sound like Britney at all are sung by her so it doesn't suprise me they don't hear any difference between Britney Jean and Baby One More Time vocals. I wish people weren't idolizing her like they do and were more realistic because it's really sad how they need to lie to themselves just because of their idol. I'm pretty sure that after this comment a couple of member will start another stupid discussion with me, but I don't really care. This is my opinion and nothing will change.

When that one demo that sounded nothing like Britney came out and people said it was her.....I just..... I had to laugh to keep from crying/scowling at my phone screen.

I have the chance to see Brit in February and I really want to as I have never seen her live before, but at the same time I don't want to be disappointed. A lot of people say you have to be there in person to really see how great the show is, but I know that the opinion I've made from seeing tons of videos can't change but so much unless Brit and the show were to change. I never saw the tours from BOMT-Circus live, but I can obviously see how amazing they were because 1. I'm not blind and 2. It doesn't take rocket science to see whether or not a show is worth the money and entertaining.

Not because it's a totally different show, just the atmosphere in the hall and seeing her live as a person is an incredible moment in life (especially if that's your first time). Everything else looks exactly the same but you don't think about it very deep, because it all happens so fast that you don't even have a time to make any accurate observations. It's not even possible. There are a lot of special effects, music plays very loud and thousands of fans are screaming around - there's no way to judge anything, you just try to enjoy present moment as much as you can. The videos are much better to state your opinions, cuz watching them you can see every simple thing very well.

 

If people say that the choreography and everything live is much better, I guess Madonna's, or Kylie's tour must be like heaven cuz they bring you so many emotions while watching on TV, sadly I can't say the same thing about Britney because Piece Of Me performances are boring to watch.

Yeah. I've been to a Beyonce concert and while I am not a hug fan, the entire atmosphere was out of this world. Then add to the fact that she is a great performer, and I was in awe the entire time and had a lot of fun.

I know that once Britney is on stage in front of me, all judgment is going to disappear and I have no doubt that I'll enjoy myself. But like you say, when watching videos I become incredibly bored. The show just doesn't live up to it's name.
