Well Madonnas best times are obv gone, but Britneys are gone either. Both of them aren't that good as they used to be so if Madonna used to be the queen, then Britney used to be the princess. I actually prefer to think that artis "gain" they titles once per life. It's very arguable. In the past teen years Madonna released only two albums, which are MDNA and Hard Candy. I liked Hard Candy and I understand that you don't, but some people also don't like all of these three albums - Femme Fatale, Circus or Britney Jean, so saying her music has gotten shitty only because two latest albums aren't her best is not a fact. Madonna has released 12 albums and Britney 8, so we'll see how good Britney's music will be after the next four albums (if she releases more, of course). Who knows if her next albums will be better than Britney Jean...

I agree 100%. I really don't get why some people care so much about titles, vevo views, album sales and other stuff. It's all about Britney as a person and her music/work. It's not like we should like an artist only because he's popular or whatever..

Well MDNA (apart from Girl Gone Wild) obv sucks more than anything in Britney discography, but Hard Candy for me is better than Britney Jean (not even mentioning Rebel Heart). I like the fact that Madonna really really care about her music no matter what and on BJ Britney doesn't give a fuck. She didn't put much effort into this album and they recorded it too fast (Alien glitch is something that should never happen)! Maybe it's not her fault at all, but she is an artist and she would never agree on something like that if she care as much as Madonna does.

I call Madonna a queen mainly because even if she is 50 (or something, idk) she still slays the stage and Britney is getting tired at 32. But I hope that Britney at least will release new albums.

i agree that "girl gone wild" is the only song on MDNA that is not shit.

however, "4 minutes" and "miles away" are the only bearable songs hard candy had to offer (for me). "work bitch", "alien" (minus the glitch), "perfume", "it should be easy", "til it's gone", "passenger" & "hold on tight" shit all over that sad excuse of an album. ray of light was painfully rolling around in its grave when that mess was released.

i'll give the new stuff a listen tho.

something about "tik tik boom" irks me. it may be the fact that the chorus is so goddamn repetitive. or maybe it's the fact that it's so short AND repetitive. or maybe it's just T.I. who's a has-been and i really have no clue why team britney didn't go for kendrick or drake. let's not talk about "chillin with you" which is the biggest mistake of britney's career. "body ache" as well.

or "now that i found you" which only has 1 verse. "don't cry" sounds underproduced and the "perfume" mix is so boring i don't even know why it exists in the first place, let alone as an album track.
