Oh please, GP never respected Madonna as a musician. Everyone always saw her as an attention-whore and just waited for the next thing she will do to shok everyone. Vocally very weak, not anywhere near pretty or sexy (she looks like an old rat imo). By that also full of herself, no idea why, she's a fucking grandma. I'm not trying to say you're an attention seeker, but I remember the thread where you said that something is coming and it never happened, same with J. Lo and Ariana Grande collab MTV news which were untrue, that's why I prefer to have a source. She didn't mention Britney as a princess of pop, but also she didn't call Taylor that way. MTV added it, Madonna just called her (and other popstars) PRINCESS, which doesn't necessarily mean being Princess Of Pop. She could mean million different things and I personally don't see anything wrong in even calling other famous singers princesses of the new industry, because she's not the one to be giving such titles.

I agree completely with everything else you stated, Madonna made note of several princesses, not just Taylor being the definitive one. That title belongs to Britney, simple google search provides that answer.

I agree 100%. I really don't get why some people care so much about titles, vevo views, album sales and other stuff. It's all about Britney as a person and her music/work. It's not like we should like an artist only because he's popular or whatever..

I think it's because they like to have "receipts" for their stan wars on forums. IDGAF though, I was a fan of Britney before all these fan forum wars and such so it's like whatever to me. All I care about is that Britney continues to release music, perform, look good and be happy. As far as Madonna, whatever she was trying say, it's irrelevant to me. If MTV was trying to start some stuff with Britney that's sad but whatever people always bite the hands that feed them. Britney and her whole generation gave MTV life like 15 years ago but MTV is shit now and for the most part those artists don't care anymore so inclusion no one cares. Moving on.

That was like a slap in Britney's face tbh , Madonna knows and even the media that Britney is the princess of pop ! But maybe Madonna is right maybe Taylor is the new princess of pop and Britney is our new Queen of Pop (you have to pass the crown eventually) it's still a slap to Britney's face tho because even MTV is shocked that Madonna said that . I did noticed however that Madonna kisses everyone's ass that's relevant and on top so that she can stay relevant, when Britney was on top she was kissing Britney's ass , when Miley was on top Madonna kissed her ass , & now that Taylor is on top now she's kissing her ass .. I love Madonna but this made me lose respect for her and I think it's time for her to retire .. I mean having to chase and kiss a relevants ass just to stay relevant ! I don't want to sound cruel but honestly, Britney isn't doing much anymore. I mean if you compare her career now and her career back in 2003, you'd get what I mean. To fans, we know that Britney is doing stuff in her career, but to non fans.. Britney is invisible. Some people even think she's the same way she was back in 2007. (Believe it or not, I met so many people who have no clue what she did after 2007.) I know Britney has different priorities now and possibly a lot of restrictions in her career.. but the girl really needs to step up and take control.

Th other day I was going over one of the threads made in 2003 and one of the users said, "I don't like the fact that britney doesn't stand up for herself." And the guy\girl is right. Britney has never been able to really stand up for herself. I mean, even back then.. she could have told jive: "If you don't let me take full control of my career, I'm not recording an album". She was VERY marketable back then and she's still marketable now. If she dances only twice in POM the way she used to.. she'll become THAT marketable again. Any record company would kill to have Britney. FFT was a horrible tour (no offense to u FFT fans) in terms of dancing and how out of shape she was for the most part AND SHE STILL SOLD OUT! Madonna is known to use stars when they're on top so we really shouldn't care about her opinion. I just wish britney would look at her old performances and look at how confident she used to be .
