What's Your Favorite Part Of Tom's Diner?

[Everytime]

Here's some of my favorite elements:

- the guitar noise in the dance break (random but amazing)

- the trance and spacey feel

- the vocal mod and orchestral pad

- Giorgio's verse (yes, I said it )

- the fact the media is going crazy over it and my family thoroughly enjoys it (even though they don't like the original version or Britney for that matter )

- the second verse, ESPECIALLY the way Britney says umbrella (don't ask why, but she says it really cool and urban and I just love the way she pronounces it )

Brb, going to listen to TD a million more times and enjoy how Britney pronounces the word umbrella

OMG the guitar noise! I love it! And the vocoder on her voice! Makes the song sound so special!

I love the way she says "helloews" in her lil style. Ugh, the song is peppered with her vocal twang, esp whenever there's an emphasized "h" sound.

Let's all get something clear though: Giorgio Moroder's chord progression is miles ahead of DNA's remix. He really knows how to get a song constantly driving forwards, and the real genius of the song lies in the always-pressing-forwards instrumental interludes between each verse. The vocoding is also masterfully wrought. I'm a fan
