They shot the video before they released the song

 

And made sure few snippets got out cause lets be real, the song could have leaked that day if someone tried hard enough.

 

But regardless... They had the "extended" version of the song out alongside the "single version".

 

 

I'm just saying, what if Britney's team was testing us to see which version we liked better?

 

It just seems kinda odd. We have a meltdown over this song because it's too short, but then it suddenly gets an extended version?

I don't get why y'all act like this remix will sound like a completely different song, it's just a longer mix with some elements added such as breakdown and that's it imo. all the snippets sound like the original song except the part where she's dancing.

Of course it's not a different song, nobody act like that, but it's extended and i think that's what many people (me included) wanted, because 2:43 is way too short, so it's amazing.

yep, the song is way to short, however I don't really think they'll release it on iTunes tbh. in my opinion they used an extended version in the music video cuz it wouldn't be easy to make a good-looking clip to a song which lasts less than 3 minutes

 

there are million examples that have a different/longer intro or something additional, but were made specifically for music videos. I'm not saying it's a stupid idea, because it would help with the sales but for now I'm guessing we won't get any other version to buy. Crazy and Overprotected got re-released because they sound very different and are actually "remixes", Boys because of the featuring artist but I don't see why would they do it with PG
