A SONG DOES NOT BECOME A HIT IN 2 WEEKS EITHER SORRY DUDE. You're obviously the delusional one. Most songs don't become popular until weeks after the music video comes out. Give it time, damn. You are seriously so annoying. If you would spend half the timer requesting that you do sitting on here bitching about how the song is going to flop, maybe it would be doing better. But it's not doing bad, at all. Just because we don't have a #1 first week like Hold It Against Me, doesn't mean the song is a flop. The song will have longevity and probably will peak in a month.

So we are not getting much radio support, the song is already losing audience on the radio which means we will soon start losing spins as well and we are struggling with digital sales. How do you expect the song to suddenly turn into a smash? You either do well on digital so the radio picks you up or the way around, you get the radio support and once the song gets a lot of exposure and airplay the digital rises simultaneously. We've got NEITHER. And it'll only get worse.

Like I said , theres singles that begin horribly & then rise .. It still has a chance and is not free falling

How does it prove that Im living in delusion? lol , I never said it was gonna be "the biggest song of the summer"

:gloria: girl get them facts straight

That comment was actually aimed at T!M but whatever.

I knew you wouldn't have anything to say back to that comment. Typical and expected response. It's hard to disagree when I only spilt the truth. I really wanna know how you expect the song to smash.

Wow, that director speaks like they always play Mozart and Beethoven on the radio and Pretty Girls is the first song in history that is not an artistic piece of art. I will never understand why people have to take pop songs so seriously, it's just fun upbeat music! Saying stuff like "It's trash music" or "that's not real talent, the Beatles are what real music means, blah blah blah" is not going to make you sound smarter, it's going to make you sound cocky, boring and pretentious.

IKR is almost like saying Gangnam Style was a hit because is a masterpiece

Gangnam Style was made fun of by radio. They had fun with it though. It took off with streaming and that positively affected all avenues.

We should be going hard at streaming and Rate the music.

It's alright. I'll bookmark this thread for when the song peaks at #18/19/20 next week and then starts to fall down the charts drastically so I can prove you wrong. See you in three weeks  ;)

I have a friend who works at a local radio station who told me that program Director response has been..."we can maybe take Britney alone and we can kind of take Iggy but together? 2 stupid white girls with no talent? Go slow with this one...

oh my god this is one of the harshest things i've ever heard :gloria:

and the radio... they can go fuck themselves

He actually knows a lot about how music works hence why he is quoting a lot of statistics and facts that support what he is saying, whereas you are just basing everything on your own flop opinion :idgaf:

Regardless the guy keeps posting fact after fact after fact and his predictions have all been correct so far. If you choose to ignore it that's your own problem but you're only setting yourself up for a major disappointment :dbab:

yeah but that doesn't mean that his predictions are going to be right?! You don't know what will happen with the song either. So there's no point in being negative.

Gosh, the american charts are so annoying. :4music:  Why can't it just be about the songs people are buying, why the fuck is radio spins involved? :scaryasfuck:

Well I guess my opinion on that doesn't matter. :coolstorybro:  I love the song a lot but I do see that it has a disposable aspect to it, and yes other other artists out there do too and still slay like fuck. My last hope is for the BBMA performance to be pure slayage that a bandwagon effect happens and radio bum licks her as so the GP. :crying1:

Come on B :crying1:

Pretty Girls came in at number 1 four days in a row this week on a local radio station here in Las Vegas. This really surprised me because I haven't heard the song being played at all since the day it was released.

People sure do love to throw the word 'negative' around on here don't they? I'm just being realistic, you might want to try being the same. That way, if by some miracle, the song does actually manage to shoot up the charts after the BBMAs you'll be pleasantly surprised rather than severely disappointed when it doesn't. :idgaf:
