It's A Pretty Great Performance... For A Duet!

You guys need to realize that the performance was not just about Britney. It's Britney & Iggy.

 

I thought she did amazing. Great outfit and energy.

YES - it would be cool if she did the dance break like in the MV.

 

BUT in the MV you don't see Iggy during the dance break.

 

Knowing that Iggy doesn't know how to dance, it'd be so awkward for her to be just grooving somewhere while Britney did the dance break. lol

 

Therefore, some compromising needed to be made since it's a DUET. 

 

I'm sure she would kill it if it was a SOLO performance.

 

All in all it was a pretty great performance. And I hope we get more award show performances in the future.

 

Anywho... some of you need to chillax and just enjoy what we have so far. KBYE!

ok see I agree. At first im like "this isnt what I wanted..." but lets think about it. We got a live performance, Brit looked stunning, Britney danced pretty hard, and overall it was pretty solid. Sure i wanted more dancing, but it was short and sweet. Nothing groundbreaking, but cute.

it's not anywhere near great, but it was good. I've seen way better dancing than that including from Britney. But she looked great and her energy was great, it was safe

I'm pressed that whenever she danced (flawlessly btw) it cut to the dancers, she was great, why do that?

The performance was boring tho. Like she was at her own stage, it was pre-recorded (they could have done some cool editing, by that i mean like what they did when they appeared, they could have done much more and better), but they didn't even manage to do at least a great performance visually speaking, have a great creative production. It was just too basic.

the thing is billboard is not gonna pay for a PH promo... if only they would have used some digital space backdrop and some effects and props, it woukd have been so much better.

I agree it was pretty basic and missing sth to make me want to watch it over and over again. I also don't get why did they cut her best choreo parts such as breakdown. The only thing I find great is her look but that's about it, the rest is nothing special…

I think the main reason why some fans are dissapointed is because we all know that Britney could bring so much more. WB, MATM, BTI, GM and Toxic during POM all are great examples that she still has it. But GP probably doesn't check her POM videos regularly so they think this one was great.
