So April and May were drama/fun filled. First the announcement of PG release date, then the BBMA performance announcement, the ankle injury and cancelled shows, The Ellen appearance, the Video release, and then the countdown to the BBMA's..... We have one more POM show and then the summer break?

It's a video of Britney in a diner. Admiring the chaos around her. As she sits there sipping her coffee, she remains invincible like any other normal human being. Until "I feel someone looking at me so I raise my head..." And it's Britney staring into the diner at some girl, admiring her peacefulness, as the paparazzi continue to flash behind her. It was all a day dream. An image Brit wished upon herself.

Sadly, I feel like all the excitement has come to an end </3 I really do believe that her team was testing the waters with Pretty Girls. If the song had been a success they would probably officially call it her lead single and announce a new album. But now that the song didn't do so well they're probably going to brush it off and pretend it was just a buzz song. Which means we will have to wait another 6 months if not longer for people to cool off and miss Britney again before she can attempt to score another hit. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. I genuinely don't think we will get an album until one of her upcoming songs will smash and stick.

That's probably the best. I'm not here for some POM performances as "promo" tbh. I really hope Vegas isn't extended and she will have a new album like early 2016 so this time she can promote normally, at least like what she did for FF even if it wasn't a lot. 

I'm not against like 2 new singles for waiting till 2016, but even if i want an album really bad, it's better to not have it now because of Vegas otherwise it will be BJ 2.0, forgotten as soon as it's out.

And i'm kinda glad PG isn't doing that good, because otherwise they would be like "oh cool a simple filmed POM performance is enough promo to have a hit, let's continue like that". I hope they realize they need a serious wakeup and to promote properly.

I think there's a lot they can do with a dark theme, she could be a ghost/poltergeist, or a sin city visual movie, or visually like that movie a scanner darkly, or comic booky, that's off the top of my head. 

 

Knowing Britney team they would film in one shot of her drinking coffee in a diner and not even lipping the words tho

Yes, thank you so much for this! I couldn't agree more. I do like Pretty Girls but hey, it's nowhere near her greatest song. I don't want Team B to take an easy route. Britney Jean was a reality check for them that they HAVE to promote. Now Pretty Girls might work as an indicator that people do really want quality music. I am willing to wait for a polished album. I feel if they released something at this point, it would be rushed and that's not what we want. Let's also hope they won't extend her Vegas residency. It's been a huge success, you can tell she enjoyed and redeemed herself but end it while it's still in its prime.

I think it's going to be a really long journey. The residency ends this year which means she will take a little break from the everything like 2 months and then go to recording session, dance studio for mv and probably for a world tour
