Ignacio Posted May 18, 2015 #1 Report Posted May 18, 2015 So yesterday watching the red carpet for the BBMAs JLo was interviewed about her Vegas residency and she commented that it will be at The Axis. She said "I will be taking over the AXIS, where Britney is doing her show now", something along the lines. Does that mean Britney's residency ends December 31st, so JLo can perform there?

Well, Britney has her shows in december, and JLo in january, i think she will use the one already built, they won't have time to built something totally different. I believe it's like when other artists come to the axis to perform when Britney has a break, except for JLo it will be for 40 dates.

More than likely the two will share the theater, with JLo "taking over" the times Britney isn't there. Stage is not an issue as many other artists have performed at the Axis using Britney's stage.

Dance Posted May 19, 2015 #10 Report Posted May 19, 2015 Technically, Britney confirmed her show will be over by December, and this proves it Once Brit is done, they will re-arrange the stage to fit Jennifer and thats it. Then, Britney will finally get on a fucking world tour after 5 years so not only american fans are privilleged to see her i cant wait

THIS!!! I'd bet that this is the most accurate prediction. I think if Brit were actually completely ending the residency, marketing would start pushing out "last chance" emails and advertising. I went to the Vegas show last May and so I'm a ton a mailing lists and haven't seen anything... 1

I didn't feel like it implied that there were more dates. I don't feel like it was implied in either direction. It's rather open ended, so maybe she doesn't know yet if she's going to continue it or not at this point. 1

I feel like if these were truly her last shows they'd be milking it as "the last time to see Britney in Vegas" rather then "the last shows of 2015"

"Your last chance to see Britney in Vegas" vs "Britney's last shows of 2015"
Everytime Posted May 20, 2015 #19 Report Posted May 20, 2015 POM was a good thing for Britney. She was calm, relaxed, had FUN, and regained confidence. It was a great environment for her. However, I do think it has really killed her popularity with the GP. I kinda hope Britney ends the show in December and does the Super Bowl in February and an album after that. Then she can go on a world tour. WHICH WOULD BE AWESOME!!! She's too young and famous to already be in Vegas, imo. 2

So i doubt shes taking over the axis Britney's stage is not permanet and is completely removable .. So if britney does extend then its most likely jlo performing during Brits time off .. Jlo begins her residency in january, so if Britney extends she will most likely comeback in feb
