Some states are putting women in jail for having miscarriages, etc., etc. That's why people on tumblr are so paranoid and looking out for any signs of racism or misogyny. I live in Serbia its an ok country, not too good not too bad, just in the middle, a lot of things could be improved, but a lot of things have already improved. I'm moving out next year tho so but ur welcomed here if ur a nature type of person, ur gonna love it! Serbia is all about nature. It's because her fans feel threatened by Britney, because they know at any point Britney could release something that would overshadow Beyonce in a heartbeat if she wanted to, so any time Britney does something they come back to drag the hell out of her in order to make Beyonce look superior. The B-Army just fights back at them because obviously when someone comes for your idol, what are you gonna do?

This is a prime example. Before the Feelin' Myself video was released, I saw nobody in our fanbase comparing them at all. We were all just having fun and enjoying the video and BBMA performance. As soon as the Feelin' Myself video is released, suddenly there's "Me vs. You" all over Tumblr and they're unnecessarily reaching for desperate strings to drag the hell out of Britney. 

I honestly feel embarrassed for them, because if you look at Beyonce's numbers, she's definitely not what her fans make her out to be, that's for sure. I think finally the public is seeing through that (look at these BuzzFeed comments for example), and they feel the need to drag something that was supposed to be silly and not taken seriously at all that Britney did just for fun. It's embarrassing, but they can do it some more because it just makes Beyonce look bad. Idc.

I actually didn't realize this until you brought it up just now. I live in Canada and we have so many different races and religions and just accept them all without a problem (there is the odd idiot, though) and this really never occurred to me because it's not generally an issue here. I made a post on Tumblr how I thought the lyrics "these thots can't clock me nowadays" wasn't appropriate and it's a degrading lyric and I got messages and replies from the Beyhive saying how I must be white and that I'm a piece of shit   I don't see the connection at all there. I don't know if they realize that hating on other races isn't going to make anything better, especially over music. People listen with their ears, not their eyes. And I don't even live in America so I don't feel like them taking out their frustrations on the internet on people who don't even live there to contribute or help the problem any is necessary. It's a sad situation, really, that people can't even have opinions over music without being called racist in some way due to political unrest in one area.

But yeah, things are really tense right now for African-American people. On the internet, the defensiveness is intensified. And then there's the fact that Beyonce is seen as Miss Perfect. I can't stand how she is held up on a pedestal. Her fans need to realize that someone who dislikes her is not always racist or sexist, but probably tired of her over-hyped mediocrity.
