Well my mom is basically who got me into Britney. When I was 4 toxic was a big hit (2004) and it was also my favorite song at the time (still is) so she got me the GH:MP album for my 5th birthday and i hadn't listened to it in full until like 3 years ago.

When Blackout came out and she was having her "breakdown" and stuff my mom would tell me about what was going on and play the album in the car all the time. That's when I really started to like Britney.

Then in 2013, around the time Ooh La La came out I heard POM on the radio and I missed that song so much so I went on her iTunes page and bought all her albums. My mom had already had BOMT and Blackout so I had to buy the other 5 (at the time) on my own. Then when WB came out I heard the demo on iTunes and I bought it immediately. It is fucking amazing. But yeah I became a stan in 2013 when my parent were going through a divorce, she really helped me and all that stuff blah blah blah. If you're interested in my story you can read my introduction in the intro section.

But anyway my mom is a pretty big fan although she sometimes insults Britney for no reason.

I have no idea if my dad likes her or no.

My sisters (twins) are so so on the whole thing although when i told them to watch PG they did and said it was pretty cool and they sometimes sing along to her songs when I play them. One of my sis's had the BOMT album in her room and really actually liked Brit but I don't know what happened.

My mom loves Everytime/Stronger but her favorite album is Circus. She's got pictures I took from Circus/Femme Fatale tours up in her office, and all her co workers always ask about them

seems like all our moms love Everytime :lmaolol:

My mom doesn't really have a fave album, but if I had to guess it would be BOMT or parts of Blackout. :D

That's awesome about the pictures!! :)

My sisters love toxic and everytime. In fact - this is a funny one - my sisters bf who is a fan of korn and slipknot - when everytime came out, he came home saying, just heard the most angelic voice on the radio from some chick - I was amazed.. When I told him it was Britney - the face pulled was priceless. My sisters listen to her tracks and love heaps of songs - but that is about it. My mom loves Brit - she was actually the one who when she first came out said she is someone I should stan for and that she was beautiful. She does not listen to any of the songs unless I play them haha. My brother on the other hand - is not really a fan..

My family is not really fond of Britney but they have to put up with it cuz of me :queenflopga: britneys songs are playing all the times from my room :queenflopga: BUT, there are certain songs each member of my family likes.

My mum: She really likes Everytime and BOMT :mhm:

My brother: He loves work bitch because i fucking overplayed it into oblivion :gloria: he even learned the lyrics only cuz i kept singing it day and night, and playing it on my laptop. He also likes OIDIA :mhm:

My dad: he keeps dragging Britney to annoy me, saying she cant sing and is not a true star etc. But deep inside he fucking adores Everytime and Toxic. And he said her cover of Tom's diner is epic and really well done :bomt:

Me: fucking dying and orgasming at every single song by Britney :mhm:

I really like reading you guy's stories!  :soexcited2:

As far as my family is concerned, here is the breakdown:

Dad - He doesn't like Pop music at all so he's not a fan. He does however commend Britney for making a turnaround from 2007 and recharging her career again. He said it's one of the best comebacks he's ever seen.  :blackoutsmiley:

Mom - Sadly, she passed away last year. However, she loved Britney almost as much as me. She was a Madonna stan and when she saw Britney was becoming Madonna's successor, she loved her. I think she also loved Britney simply because she's from Louisiana and she grew up there when she was young. My mom and I talked about taking a trip to Kentwood someday but never did. :(

Sister - She staned for Britney during the BOMT and Oops eras, then hated her when she came out with "Slave" and became real sexy. However, I've gotten her back into Britney. She loves Blackout, Circus, and Femme Fatale. She also agreed to go to the Circus Tour with me and she had a blast. :)

fam isn't too big into Brinny, but my mom is a huge fan of Tom's Diner. She kinda wants Britney to either retire and take care of her kids (she's a savage when she critiques JLo and Bey for the same thing) or come out with something more mature and interesting.

Sister has a few faves. We jokingly sing Sometimes together, some tracks off Blackout and FF she enjoys.

My dad isn't a fan at all, but his music taste is basically identical to mine: we both like obscure era tracks (he, 80s indie, me modern indie) and both have huge blonde guilty pleasures (mine, Britney, him, Debbie Harry from Blondie).

my best friend's huge guilty pleasure is Inside Out. He couldn't believe Brit made a song that sounded like that. he's since come to love some Blackout tracks too
