I always see everyone talk about how amazing Blackout, ITZ, and OIDIA, are well because they're great I even see people compliment BJ

 

Now I'm here to appreciate one of her best and slightly under appreciated albums(minus the singles )

 

Britney is a great album:

It has Sexyney :ooyeah:

and the cuteney everyone loves: :ooyeah:

(apart from that horrendous outfit the performance is adorable )

This is the album we have with the most music videos and they all slay and every single track (even the korean version's tracks) is amazing :

I payed 40 dollars just to own that song on CD 

 

Also transitionney slays :

 

The album is also Britney's second biggest first week sales

 

 

In summary Britney album is awesome because its a mix between 2 sides of Britney and its a very strong album

MY FAVE ALBUM OUT OF HER ENTIRE DISCOGRAPHY! the album is really amazing, and theres so many genres in it, every song is different and so special The CD cover is probably her best tbh, maybe in competition with Circus cover not to mention the Fairy Britney on the CD itself, so gorgeous and delicate tbh shows her true nature  

This is my fave song from the album that deserved so well to be a single its fucking amazing, her vocals, the instrumental, so fierce and fragile at the same time  

fucking flawless album tbh, and although the army doesnt see it, it actually is her best. This is the first time she had a say in the creation of her own album. And she was somewhere in between ITZney attitude and BOMTney attitude in this album . She was both and the perfect middle PRAISE THE BRITNEY ALBUM!

Britney is actually my least fave Britney album by far

But the album slays regardless and is a solid pop album. The singles are great and the tour and era are ICONIC. even though it's my least fave album it's still fun!

I adore the Britney era. However, I do wish the entire album had more of the sexy and mature sound from Slave, Boys, and Overprotected. But that's just me nit-picking. It's a solid album.

I adore the Britney era. However, I do wish the entire album had more of the sexy and mature sound from Slave, Boys, and Overprotected. But that's just me nit-picking. It's a solid album.

yeah If only her team back then would've let her go with the original track list, since a lot of the songs that are "cute" were meant for  a crossroads soundtrack and shoved in Britney when it was cancelled still flawless songs though because tbh ILRNR, overprotected, and Bombastic love are amazing

The Britney album slays! I love it so much! Hence why my signature is dedicated to the album's music videos.

 

Anyway, yes it was Britney's first time to really venture out of teen pop and explore hip-hop/R&B elements into her music. The bonus tracks are spectacular as well. Also what a great era to be a fan in. She promoted the hell out of the album, singles, music videos, Crossroads, Tour, etc. So she was EVERYWHERE!

If we pretend BJ doesn't exist, then it's also my least favorite album. Not saying it's bad but I have a love/hate relationship with songs on this record Some sound great and I love them until today (Overprotected or Lonely) and some aren't my style at all (Bombastic Love or Before The Goodbye for example). However, I must admit the era itself was probably the best one she ever had, I love it very much

I actually like BJ a lot more than Britney yea, I think what killed the record for me was the confusing, clashing, and uncohesive theme. Part of the record was mature (Slave, Overprotected, Boys), and the rest was somewhat childish. Besides, I don't think the album was the strongest musically.

BUT... still good and had a great era!

Yes it's great! It's really great! I would have to say it's a lot better than Circus and FF. Recently i've been getting into BOMT for some reason. It's really funky and there are a lot of cool ballads on BOMT. But Britney is in my top 4 for sure.
