Me too. And this album cancellation thing is probably true, there are more people in the background saying the decision is final. I don't know how much more of this the fanbase can take. It's creepy.

I'm sad right now.. I really am. She's a good person why she always be treated like that? Yes she made some mistakes before but she had already made amends for that. Why?

Is there any room for negotiation or something? Like if she fights for it hard she can finally win it back?

Is this for real? We went from having the most amazing year in i don't know how long and just barely coming off the high of a televised performance to we aren't getting an album....that's it....it's cancelled. Have some faith people! Worst case scenario she gets trapped in her rca label that she just renewed and if they "cancel" her album she wont be able to put anything out.

BUT COME ON!! IT'S BRITNEY FUCKING SPEARS! if Rca is dumb enough to drop her some other label would pick her up in a quick half sec. and if you ask me that wouldn't be the worse thing.

PS. stop with all this "we have a deeper insight" shit. If you are not going to share the insight then don't say anything, like seriously what were you getting out of saying that and firing us up about something we don't have any clue about.

And even if this is true and we won't be getting any good Brit material anymore let us enjoy the little we are getting now this is the most lively and invested we've seen her in forever!

Considering this is all true: If her team is THAT disappointed with how Pretty Girls is doing on the charts, why don't they do something about it? I mean, how do they expect a song to become a number one hit if they don't put any effort into promoting that release? I'm not trying to sound negative and I'm seriously happy with the things that we've been getting this year, I really am, but I just can't help but think about how much better things would be if her team was different. From my point of view Britney seems willing to promote, you can tell how happy and energetic she looks on stage and on the interviews she's done, so the problem is clearly her team.

I don't see how the problem would be her team. As i said in another thread, they are great with Miley so it's obviously not coming from them. I don't understand why y'all are always blaming other people. She is the one who wanted Vegas to not travel anymore, she signed that contract saying she couldn't perform anywhere else meansing SHE is happy by doing nothing else than that. The only problem is Britney here, nobody else.

What could her team do more with someone who doesn't care? They can't put a knife on her throat and force her. They do the best they can with what they have, and what they have is a Britney who wants to do the least she can when that's possible.

IF the cancellation thing is real, than i'm glad it is. First because i don't want an album when vegas is still on.  And 2nd because maybe Britney will realize can't have a cake and eat it too.

You could be right, but I don't know, I just don't see this whole "Britney would rather lay on her sofa than promote" thing because lately she seems really happy on stage and into he promo that she's done, you know? Her energy in general just tells me that she'd be fine with a more active career. Obviously she'll always put her personal life first, that's something we all can and should agree with, but she can easily spend a lot of time with her family and do more stuff to promote her music! No one is asking her to go on a full promo tour like in the past, where she would spend weeks away from home, but something like what she did for the Intimate Collection last year would be more than enough! I don't know, that's just what I think.

Like what do y'all really think Igloo could do on her own tho? She promoted her last single EVERYWHERE and it flopped; the GP has been hugely responsive to Godney this era (praising her appearance, the BBMAs performance) but they are tired of Igloo. She's hurting the single more than helping it.

Black widow did amazing though :bigtime: im so glad she didn't release that jeniffer Hutson song as a single :yes;

I think that over time people can change yes she signed the contract but that was in 2013 I think Vegas has giving her alot of confidence so she may have been happy then but maybe she wants to do more now. and I say maybe lightly these are all just speculations none of us really know what she wants or how she feels but you can clearly see she's in a more happier motivated part of her life. And to say nobody put a knife to her throat is a bit extreme. No noone did but I think the industry is more then just what Brit wants. Her career employs ALOT of people if she quits or takes a major break so do all those people. So I dont think it's as easy as your making it sound

OH! I didn't like Iggy but this interview made her look so cute and humble.

Sad for her that Britney's team won't let her promote. They don't want to accept that they NEED the promo (or maybe too busy counting B's Vegas $$$$$$) and that sucks. They DON'T care about a sucessful single + possible album anymore.

I totally agree.

I can see the sparks in her eyes when she's performing these days!

And yes, the music industry is not like a superhero comics that one hero or super girl can change the world. I'm a new fan but I heard back then she wanted to promote Mona Lisa but her label didn't want her to, so she could only promote it in some radio stations? If she's in control of everything and considering she's really passionate that time she could have done many promo performances about it lol.

"Trouble" wasn't going to do anything here in the states tho.  Yeah, she did promo for the single but it was all for not, that single was DOA (and I like J-Hud) but opting that song over "Beg for It" was a misfire easily predicted.  "Pretty Girls" is different, has serious potential, and would actually benefit from more promo like all her past singles.  Britney has been getting good will from the public since Circus, she has an audience that still wants to *see* her, but instead of taking advantage of that now her team has Brit shackled to PH exclusively.  Iggy, regardless of all the shade thrown her way, has given very compelling award show performances.  She's down to help promote while Team Britney is stuck with Britney Spears just simply being enough.

lmao you have no idea what you talk about. And ofc army (deluded part, even though you are a deluded troll) is blaming everyone but team spears.

Iggy is such a sweet girl, and you can see that Britney loves her too,you can see that connection and spark when she is around her (unlike will I am) you can see that chemistry. Pg is mehh (I love it) and most gp doesn't even know that it exist, even though its a mehh song it has potential, but it will flop bcz team spears is continuing to throw projects out there, without any promo plan etc. :)

Also that won't change till Britney herself gets pasion for her career back.

With that being said, she really loves iggy mostly bcz she is such a cool and normal chick to be around, and I hope they stay friends irl (iggy lives few blocks away lol)

I just went trough this thread. Are you ppl srsly that deluded no offense, you guys do know that if this era flops ya'll will have full time momney to Stan for ? And why are ya'll bashing owner of this site and their admins for having some common sense in them ? (especially ppl who were banned for having no filter ? )

Ik that ya'll have idc about numbers excuse, and she has done it all,she is a mom now etc. Excuses. But bbs as I've said,Britney and her team need to stop throwing lets make easy money projects around,if this era flops her career as a pop star is over (you can't recover from 2 flop eras, especially if you are 35+ and have no media exposure).

I call bullshit on anyone trying to discredit @@Ned or @@laracroftonline. Their personal opinions don't make this site any less amazing or anything like Exhale. By all means, go start your own forum that's even more positive than this one. :eyeroll:

I highly doubt they would cancel an entire album that hasn't even been confirmed by Britney due to one song not hitting #1 within one week  :4music:  Honestly, they should have known that it wouldn't have done that off the bat. Compared to Britney's previous music, it's Pretty Girls is meh. I like the direction they were going with the sound and I think that could catch on but realisitically, the song could have been a bit different vocally during the chorus and I think that alone would have helped out the song a lot. And considering all the hate Iggy has been getting from people, I don't know if that helped it, either. Secondly, they should have known that you can only go so long not promoting music while still being as successful as Circus was. She needs to get outta her dang Vegas contract and get on TV and do more performances, or at the very least remove that clause in it.

I can see them getting her to re-record the album with a different sound before releasing it, but cancelling an entire project just because of PG chart performance is ridiculous.

I really think after the BBMA's that she might want to do more, too. Because after all the positive reviews she was getting, that must have had to boost her confidence as well. I'm sure that had to make her want to do more stuff, because I'm sure that if she ever got to a point where she didn't feel like doing promotion, it was because she was nervous after the media was so harsh on her. The more positive reviews she gets from people, the better she's gonna feel about going out there and doing things. I don't know for sure, again just speculation.

She really should drop vegas, it kills her career completely. We fans in Europe don't have funds to go see her (only rich ones of course) but I am not one of them. I agree that Pretty Girls is kinda meh, but the direction is right. No more that EDM shit like on BJ. :nonotatall:
