Things you didn't know about Britney Spears:

- At the age of 5, Britney had a bicycle accident and broke her right arm

- While recording her debut album Baby One More Time, Spears caught up with MMC alumni Christina Aguilera and shared some insights

- I Will Be There was expected to be Spears' 2nd single from her debut album Baby One More Time. The label thought Sometimes would be a better Spring influenced song

- Britney's cousin Margie had a cameo on her video 'From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart' as the girl whom Spears' boyfriend cheated on her with. Later on, it was decided to be cut out of the video

- During the Dream Within A Dream tour rehearsals, Britney begged to her team to let her do a rendition of My Heart Will Go On. The request was denied as they wanted to promote Crossroads.

- Justin Timberlake would come to her concerts regularly, however things would not go well as he didn't approve of Britney being sexual with her dancers on stage

- Touch Of My Hand was going to be the 4th single for the international audience, however this was scrapped as Catwoman's movie was expected to be a big hit

- Britney was supposed to perform at the 2011 VMAs, however this was changed at the last minute as they wanted to showcase other artists

- Janet Jackson recorded a feature on Britney's single Break The Ice. But due to Spears' public meltdown, management decided to keep it safe and have Janet later on for another single. Janet then recorded a part in Britney's song Mannequin for her 2008 VMA comeback performance, this was later scrapped as Britney didn't feel prepared to go on stage

- Britney's song "Hold On Tight" was written of her journey with her father when she was a child

- "The Hook Up" was expected to be a summer single for Latin America

- Britney and Justin recorded a song together called Lovin' The Beat in 2001

- Till It's Gone was meant to be Britney's lead single for her latest album "Britney Jean", however producer Will.I.Am instead that Work B**ch would break a record and set a bigger trend and foundation for the album

- The original setlist of the Piece Of Me residency had included some of Britney's past hits like Born To Make You Happy, I Love Rock & Roll, Out From Under, and My Prerogative. Overprotected was originally allocated before her hit Perfume, however Spears wanted Boys.

Don't forget to add...

She recorded Let it Go, but was scrapped because her team thought it wouldn't be a good business decision. It was given to Demi Lovato.

you're right, didn't she do the background vocals anyway?

Dont forget the most important part:

Rolling in the deep was offered to britney first, she ssang a demo sample for it too, her team scrapped it off cuz it didnt fit with the album, when Adele heard it she fell in love with britneys powerhouse vocals and decided to do the song in the exact same way without changing a thing.

What the Touch of My Hand has to do with Catwoman? Am I being a flop and missing something :orangu: ?

Outrageous was part of the soundtrack for Catwoman and that's why it was released as a single. Romour has it the 5th single was gonna be I Got That (Boom Boom) and the her and the Ying Yang twins were gonna take the stage of the VMA's to perform it :)
