So I just found out that Demi and Nick Jonas are launching a record label.

The main aim is to be an artist-centric label that puts the music first rather than the profits.

We often hear many artists having major difficulties with record companies and management.

So which brings me to the question:

Do you think Britney should make her own record label where she is free to make her own professional and artistic choices?

I remember many of us suggested that Britney should have her own label...

Also, I feel that if she does retire (which I hope will be very very far away), this would make a cool project for her to help aspiring talented artists kickstart their careers or something. lol

Anywho... would love to hear your thoughts!

Let's discuss! :)

I don't know about creating her own record label, but she should definitely change the one she's with right now and work with people that listen to her and care about her and her music.

That's interesting. They might just take on TIDAL as well. As for the poll - she should change both the record label and the management.

She should create "Vanilla Candle Records" so she can make a really fun, urban, cool and artsy-fartsy album  :crying1:  :crying1:

I think having a record label would be a good idea when Britney no longer wants to make music of her own. Now she's not concerned with "fighting the man" and is happy being able to do exactly what she wants to

Britney already did that , I think she should change record labels tbh. I dont know if yall noticed this but ever since Britney went to RCA its been nothing but problems promotion wise. When Britney was with Jive records they went full out for her when ever she put out an album and thats something RCA  doesnt do for her. Im not gonna blame her management because they were with Britney since the beginning and we had so many things going on., but at the end of the day we dont know whats going on tbh ... I mean we could blame management and the record label but what if Britney is the actual problem? what if Britney is at the point where she doesnt care anymore? maybe she just wants to release music and thats it . Honestly it looks as if Britney wants to settle down already I mean the signs are there. She wanted to do Vegas (we all know thats where artist go to settle down) she puts out music but doesnt go hard for it as she used to..etc

Tidal isn't a record label.

OMG really? How did you know that? Wow you're so smart. :teethless:

Did I ever mention TIDAL was a record label? You obviously didn't get what I meant so kindly click away and have a great day.

I didn't know creating your new label is THAT easy.. No I didn't mean Demi and Nick hadn't put much effort to make this actually happen, but I just thought it would be nearly impossible for just one or two artist to start their own record label TBH.. So I was just saying "Britney should have her own label" back then while I didn't even believe it.

Then if Demi and Nick are able to create their own label, of course Britney is able to as well! Then she can control the whole direction of her albums and make sure to be the EP of every album of her own, and her music will be promoted as well as in Jive again, she also can help new artists to start their career with the label! She is a really talented artist, yet a really smart businesswoman too, if she wants to do it, I'm sure it'll be a great label NGL!

And good luck with your new label, Demi & Nick!

Gurl... Britney doesn´t want to dedicate her time to promoting, do you srsly think she will have the time to do that? Illy  :pieceofwhat:

She´s rich as fuck and she loves to perform, she doesn´t need the money so she´ll stick with what she likes :sipstea:

Why bother? She already said career is number 3.

She probably will build a church to worship God personally.

If she said her career was more important than God or her family, there'd be a serious problem  :smokeney:

You know I was implying it makes them incomparable.

Dolly Parton created her own record label a few years ago released her own albums. She's a legend and yet was getting passed over by record labels and not getting the kind of deal she was looking for. Her label strictly produces Dolly albums, they aren't looking to sign anyone else. I think Britney should do the same in the sense that she should 100% control her career! God knows all of Britney's best career moves came from her head! She has a brain for business.

It would be cool for her to own a record label... maybe she could join herself and have more creative control. :)

Watching Brit find and sculpt new artists would also be interesting... but let's be real, her advice to them would be even worse than on the X Factor. :moorangu:

Her family should come first.

And career >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> God
