It's too hard to say because the song would be totally different. I think a collab with Gwen would have been better received by the GP and probably got more people talking. Iggy is yesterdays news, and I do think her presence hurt the single a bit.

 

But on the other hand, look what happened to Gwen's last two singles  :omg1:

Even though the hate for Iggy is real, I don't think it would have faired any better with Gwen Stefani tbh.  Pop radio just flat out refuses to fully embrace "Pretty Girls" and the general audience doesn't seem to respond to singles featuring two females all that well (there are some exceptions of course).  Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the "S&M [remix]" with Britney the last time two solo female artists topped BB's 100? If that's the case, it's a rarity.

That's what I thought, but I think a collab between them would have actually done really well. 

Definitely would have got a top 10 debut at least!
