1)There are people like megan trainor who makes songs about accepting your flaws and having fun with it.

2)The industry making songs about that bullying ,glorifying the flaws type of songs for a long time .Such as Firework by Katy Perry , Mean by Taylor Swift , Take Me to Church by Hozier etc.

3)People bashed iggy so much after fancy , because she can't rap.people hate iggy nowadays.

it is an immature song especially coming from someone in their 30s, i get the whole thing about just a fun song but you can have a fun song without being it about how to be superficial

It's just not a good song imo.

I mean, not that it's a bad song, but it's just not a good song for a "comeback" single especially after BJ flop.

 

Too much autotune, stupid lyrics, and chorus isn't catchy (imo). Honestly she needs a great pure pop song, i'm sure it would work, and obviously serious promo from Britney and B-team instead of acting like the song doesn't exist.

I don't think it has something to do with the first two facts that you listed, but Iggy being on the track definitely made the public dislike the collaboration even before they listened to it. Of course the main reason is people just not liking the song, but if Britney had featured someone else I'm sure it wouldn't have received so much hate.

Songs don't need a message to be a hit, but having Iggy, who is pretty hated right now, definitely didn't help the song. It has to do with Iggy , shes the worlds hated person .. Alot of ppl said that the song is very catchy and that Iggy just ruins it. I also seen alot of reaction vidz and once Iggy starts "rapping" they have an annoyed look

Imo it doesnt matter tho , some of yall are forgetting the fact that Britney said she already proved herself & she just wants to have fun..
