This song/video/performance of Rhythm Nation is the the DEFINITION OF A MOTHER FUCKING MOVEMENT!!!! and My God Britney would MURDER SLAY KILL a song like this  ...Some fans want a song like Ray of Light...but MANY even non Britney fans said they would give a standing ovation if she ever owned something like Rhythm Nation this song in particular and I couldn't agree more. the RESPECT people that don't acknowledge would be clapping so hard for her at an award show....Just my opinion

When you read reviews nowadays you read in every sentence the similarities of the songs with older ones.

EXCATLY! although when it comes to reviews thats exactly what you're going to get a comparison of new & old...Everything in this music industry is influenced, sampled, etc and thats not necessarily a bad thing, its actually really dam creative when you can somehow incorporate an older song in a new one and have it be amazing, but i think having a FINE line is the balance and just trying to be as fresh as possible is the key....

 

Thats why i think she needs a movement and what I was saying w/ this song Rhythm Nation is that it captures just that, not that she needs a song to sound like Rhythm Nation.

I think Britney needs pure pop! Get with Max Martin and B&A and rock out some amazing pop! Pair this with some Danceney music videos and I will be SLAYED!!!

Agreed! Sticking to her REAL pop roots (BOMT, Overprotected, Up n Down, Boys, Lonely, Crazy) and creating a masterpiece with the proper song formats Verse hook chorus verse hook chorus bridge hook chorus, she hasnt really done that with BJ...and just give ANTHEM vibes...we got that vibe with TTWE and Gimme More
