This is so sad to look at.  :juggingu:

We grew up with BOMT/Oops/Toxic

These kids are growing up with Pretty Girls... I am not talking about Britney's music, but music in general.

We were singing "I need to make mistakes just to learn who I am" and they are singing "Bitch better have mah money!" It's sad.  :awkwarddd:

And they grow up with Megan Trainor, Taylor Swift, and "Fight Song"

Our parents were saying the same when we were kids:

We were singing "we are family, I got all my sisters with me", and they are singing "Wanna get dirty, it's about time that I came to start the party"

 They're like a little Little Mix. They were gettin it tho  :howiroll::bffs:

And honestly, every generation has their fair share of both deep, thought provoking songs and their versions of Get Nasty.

Hell, Britney had totally separate vibes with NAGNYAW and Slave, all in one era :lol4:

This was so uncomfortable in so many levels for some reason.... Don't get me wrong I love listening to PG when I need a boost of confidence to smile and all but something about 12yr olds in make up and dressing/dancing like this is just nooooooo :orangu:

Exactly, I find this kind of discussion dumb because every generation has always thought that life was better before. I don't see the problem people have with today's music, theres always been "silly" songs and "serious" songs, it's something that hasn't changed and it's not going to change. I don't know if you guys understand what I mean  :raisehand:

I've got nothing against PG, but how can the song even make somebody a fan or more of a fan :juggingu:

That's something I've been thinking, like did Britney Jean or Femme Fatale got Britney any new fans? I like those albums because I was already a Britney fan, but it's hard for me to believe that she's still gaining new fans with these younger generations.

Actually, I've felt that way since Blackout, no shade but, seriously, why would someone become a fan of Blackoutney? and I know 90% of the people in the forums became fans during that era, the other people weren't totally fans but became after Blackout and I belong to the 0.01% who almost stopped being a fan at all during that era. And I really don't know the statistics about Circus :P (although I know I wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for that album who restored my faith in Britney) but my point is, yeah, I don't think any kid or teenager is following Britney these days. It would be really shocking to hear a kid saying "oh, I prefer Pretty Girls over her old songs" or something like that. :wahlykeomg:

Yes, I wanted to shade BJ as well, but the album is a scapegoat anyway. I think it's possible to become a fan in 2015 by listening to her old albums and watching her old performances (or even recent). Britney wasn't a fleeting moment in the industry. Currently popular artists sometimes mention Britney as their influence and that can help. However, the percentage of those new fans is small, I think. Circus and FF eras did bring a lot of fans, though most of them just jumped on the bandwagon and left later, judging by my experience.

I was wondering if I see even a single comment like this one!!!

Wtf is wrong with people and this generation?

10-12 year olds putting make up on, dancing provocatively and talking about wiping the floor with boys?????? WTF???

Give them a bunch of toys and put them in a playground to learn how to be children again... :icantt:

That video was so poppin lol those are some talented creative girls...the adlibs that girl at the end was doing tho...Britney, lol take note on what kind of adlibs we desire ...And for yall freaking out about how they look...its a damn video for God sakes! thats what people do when in a video, they dress up they put on make up they get dolled out and wear funk costumes, im sure they dont dress like that and wear make up 24/7 people like c'mon. Britney does it all the time and then in person she doesnt dress up at all. They're kids and i think their outfits were totally appropriate, no skin was showing nor wee they dancing provocatively, they danced with attitude, get a grip.
