She did tweet about the song, she even said people should buy it , gift it, but also not forget to stream it a lot because it counts on the charts and everything, she actually tweeted a lot and even talked about it on interviews, she did A LOT more than Britney which is a shame. And yes Iggy talked about huge plans but let's not forget Britney was the first one saying she planned something really big and special for this era so please.. People expected more even before we knew the collab would happen.

And they probably told Iggy they planned big things, just like they told her Britney's album was ready just to keep the song.

All of this is just the result of Britney's camp not giving a crap , lying and keeping the fans in the blur. Maybe if they would learn to communicate and being honest it would be a start.

The thing is though I'm not saying it's all iggys fault the song did poorly, I'm saying the blame isn't completely on Britney and her team either. Could Britney have done more? Sure. Could Iggy? Yes. For Iggy to sit there and say "welp sorry not my fault" is irresponsible of her. Her name is on the song too.

I agree with Iggy. She told Britney She wanted to release it as her single, then, Britney’s team said Brtiney was ready for 9 era, but then, as always, everything went different. Don't know if is because Britney's contract doesn’t allow her to perform or what, but Iggy has promoted every single she has done, so it’s absolutely compressible how she feels

her name is on the song.. but it's not HEE song. I'm sure she tried to get her team to call Brits to ask to promote more & britney just didn't want to

Yet she was willing to take the song as hers. Let's pretend that happened for a minute. You think Iggy would have forced Britney to perform it everywhere? No, she wouldn't have. So what would she have done? Perform it by herself? Find other ways to promote it? Britney could have done more to promote the song if she wanted to, but my point remains that so could Iggy. Iggy isn't taking responsibility for her part in the song, she's blaming it all on Britney when it's not entirely Britney's fault.

It kinda is who goes on vacation and stop caring about her newest released single? those 5 tweets in total are a shame.

I understand what you mean, although, what could she have done ? She really wanted to promote, but she couldn't. It's actually really not her fault. Literally just talking about it and tweeting is all she had right to do, which is not even effective promo let's be real, but she did it a lot so i don't see what she could have done more. Especially considering it's not her song i think she did more than enough imo.

She didn't go on vacation :zoomzoom: she was still performing in Vegas. Britney promoted pretty girls in the way I expected her to. More so actually because I didn't expect a performance

Still posting that crap from aplus.com and many more vague things the past few weeks did not help. keep in mind the bbmas are not a worldwide thing.

So a little bit more social media promo could not have hurt.

Of course Britney could have done more, and I never said she did all she could. I'm saying that the blame is not ENTIRELY on Britney, because it's not entirely her song. Iggy is taking no responsibility and just blaming it on Britney/her team. That isn't right.

And now she is  "just a featuring" but the song title says otherwise "Britney & Iggy"

it was mostly Britney's fault like 80% of fault is here,it was impossible for Iggy to perform it alone, plus it is/was Britney's project even though it was duet, also there must've been legal reason why she couldn't perform it,believe me if she could she would promote the shit outta this song. Iggys only fault was that she is hated by most black community, but stillif the song was better, and if it had any promo it would be somewhat successful.

Per usual team spears tried to get/gain some success with minimal effort.

The main thing Iggy did was hype up the song way before team Britney was ready to release the song. I think the only reason it was released in the first place was because she threaten to take the song away. Iggy did want the duet instead of feature. She added her singing to the chorus and pre chorus. Which made it a duet. And that left some Brit fans annoyed. And other fans were expecting a masterpiece because of the hype and were disappointed with a cute fierce girl anthem. Iggy also didn't encourage her fans to treat it as a duet after making the song a duet.

But no way people spend money promoting songs released by other people's label. Unless you have no other music or hits. The use of feature was just an unfortunate word choice because of the not duet meaning to many fans.

Britney did promote the song how the fans wanted until it was how she promoted. The fans think they want sonething but really they just want ITZney back.

We know with this Vegas era team Brit are doing music as promo. They aren't really trying to get hit songs (though they would love one) when they aren't pushing the marketing and how the industry is working to their fullest effort. And they need videos ready within a few days of the songs release. For Britney a lyric video should always be ready immediately. Brit's fan are visual the same as she. And streaming is really important right now. So they can market Brit even with her Vegas contract, conservatorship precording that happens. Even with Brit's anxiety. Though the using this as promo means money isn't being used to promo the songs.

I don't think she meant it as shade, y'all can be very dramatic. I think she's just being honest. She said before in an interview how she wanted to perform the song a lot, and said "Britney doesn't really do award show performances anymore." She knew that all along, she's just saying her hands were tied in terms of wanting to see it do well. It was Britney's song, obviously team B isn't really concerned or they would have done something. They thought adding Iggy and doing a BBMA performance would be enough, and it clearly wasn't.

Britney was actually wearing a wig at the bbma's too , her hair stylist pulled out her bangs so that it can make it look natural

Looks like they were both wearing wigs at the BBMAs

ik, but iggy's wig looks like it's her hair. On the other hand, britney.. :moorangu:

Poor Iggy

She wanted to promote the song since the very beggining and was really passionate about it yet Britney team decided to let the song flop and die, they're such a mess. I feel sorry for her, I would be mad being at her place as well.
