while her frustration is understandable, I feel like she worded it the way she did because she wants to prove she's badass, that second sentence seems so purposefully offensive..I'm not mad at her for responding like that, it just seems like she's looking for attention & it's not putting her in the best light imo.

Seriously, what she said was true, she never shaded Britney. The outcome of Pretty Girls was based on Britney, not Iggy. Britney & Iggy could have counteracted the hate she was getting by promoting the song more - appearence on Ellen, more performances, etc - but they didn't, because BRITNEY didn't want to promote. 

 

Iggy has not said a single bad thing about Britney, and now the media is trying to set this up as a feud, and you guys are all buying into it. Britney probably gives zero fucks about all of it, and her & iggy will probably laugh about it over the phone. 

What's hilarious though, is that by doing this, she is giving Pretty Girls the most promotion it's had since the BBMA performance. This will go viral, the views/streaming on Pretty Girls will spike, maybe even sales will too,  along with the fact radio may talk about it, then play the song, causing an increase in airplay, and thus, causing the song to rebound on the Hot 100 a little.  She essentially just bought Pretty Girls more time. 

 

Now that I think about it, Iggy has promoted Pretty Girls more then britney has, so why the fuck are we getting mad at her?

Like Iggy said, Britney is happy / content with it. She knows promo would help and she doesn't really care. 

But also... it's obvious now that she can't perform outside of PH with her contract, so their hands were tied.
