But also... it's obvious now that she can't perform outside of PH with her contract, so their hands were tied. What were they going to do, broadcast live from PH on Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel and GMA? There is always a solution. Even if that contract thing is real, she could have promote PG outside US since it's only about North America. It was out in june in UK she could have go there and perform. And in US, she could have done some talk shows at least to promote the song, and she went 2 minutes on Ellen for what ? Talking about Vegas i mean even when she does little promo they always manage to mess it up.

Her responding to it all the time doesn't help her situation, it only brings more attention to it. Perhaps if she truly didn't give a shit, they would back off. You're right about the the talk shows she could do that, but if the contract thing is legit shes tied to the Axis. Britney & Iggy could have counteracted the hate she was getting by promoting the song more - appearence on Ellen, more performances, etc - but they didn't, because BRITNEY didn't want to promote. Iggy has not said a single bad thing about Britney, and now the media is trying to set this up as a feud, and you guys are all buying into it. Britney probably gives zero fucks about all of it, and her & iggy will probably laugh about it over the phone. What's hilarious though, is that by doing this, she is giving Pretty Girls the most promotion it's had since the BBMA performance. This will go viral, the views/streaming on Pretty Girls will spike, maybe even sales will too, along with the fact radio may talk about it, then play the song, causing an increase in airplay, and thus, causing the song to rebound on the Hot 100 a little. She essentially just bought Pretty Girls more time. Now that I think about it, Iggy has promoted Pretty Girls more then britney has, so why the fuck are we getting mad at her? GORL ! No. Never.I'm taking a journalism class and I learn that media will always look for contorversy in order to make money out of it. Bad news = good news to media. 2007ney was the victim of papz and media that's why she's more quiet now because she knows media will always make news everyday. Iggy on the other side needs to grow up, not every single question should be answered. Sometimes it's better to remain silent. 1
