Ok not really worried....but....this latest string of flopage and kinda bad rep she has been getting is going to make it even more dificult for her to regain relevancy! Interest for Britney and her music has remained VERY high, people still like her a lot but she isn't giving them much! Everything around her for the past few years has been somewhat boring (with some exceptions) and super safe! Her music is flopping ONLY because she does not promote, not because it is not good! She has lost that hunger for success and it shows! It's her right to take it easy, she has earned it, but I'm afraid soon the best producers won't want to work with her as they once did, because she will be unable to delive a hit, and they all want a hit! Same thing with collabs, people won't dream about being on a song with Britney as they once did.....because she will just disapoint them, like she did Iggy.

Not trying to be negative....just wish Britney would promote her music a little more because it's good! PG deserved to be a hit, it's catchy as fuck!

She doesn't have a bad rep tho, sis. The GP usually really roots for her. But yes, in terms of music, it's going to take a lot of work and some quality music to get her a hit again. Whether she wants that or not is up to her... if she's content doing Vegas, then we need to accept that. But if Britney wants another successful era with hit singles and decent sales, she just needs to put in the work.

When the money starts going then we'll get another hit..or when Jamie wants extra $$$ :pieceofwhat:

The money ain't going anywhere... on a slow year, Britney makes $35 Million... she has a net worth of around $200 Million. What people fail to understand when they call Britney "lazy" is that she's worked her ass off since she was a child for all that she has, and the benefit of that is now being able to relax, slow down, and really enjoy her sons as they grow up. Even if she stopped recording music forever, and never did another live show - she has royalties from DVDs, CDs, digital sales, streaming, merchandise, endorsements, her perfume line, the intimate collection, etc. etc.

I completely agree with this....but my point is that, if she stops working hard for hits, producers/writers and such will stop wanting to give their best songs to Britney and we as fans will not get the quality of music we are accustomed to from her.

I get what you're saying and I agree to some extent.

Britney does not have a bad rep tbqh , the GP loves "Toms Diner" she hardly has negative comments on there. They are just waiting for that hit tbh , shes just not workin with the right ppl

As for the hit producers of course they will work with her , u just have to have the money to pay them and they will work with you & clearly Brit has the money

If Britney keeps going down this path not working with the right producers and not choosing the right songs then she is definitely setting a trap for herself down irrelevant lane

I think she'll always be respected within the industry, not just for her output (which is still greater than Katy, Viley, or any other pop bint.) but also for the fact that EVERYONE who works with her notes how sweet and professional she is. She seems to be really trying her hand at experimenting and working with different producers right now, and she's not rushing herself which is good - I believe as long as she puts out a great album next, she'll be fine.
