On being half mexican: "That's who I am. My dad, my family, that's me. Then when I became whoever I was (famous), people saw me as half-mexican or mexican, and I didn't know, I was like 'that's who I am'. Now I'm able to embrace that. When I wanted to become an actress and singer when I was 7 years old I thought I had to be blonde, or have blue eyes and be pretty. I mean, I loved Britney Spears and Hilary Duff and I thought that's what I had to look like. Then you know, everyday I have to deal with people thinking I'm too this, I'm too that, I'm not good enough. It's just about learning that you're strong with who you are.
