EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! Britney Is Leaving RCA When Her Contract Ends.

Praise Jesus!

I'd rather see her retire than have her re sign with RCA. They don't have her best interest at heart if you ask me. At least with Jive she was the big bitch on campus and they'd put effort into her.

when Britney was on x-factor there were rumors that she would move to LA Reid's label Epic Records or something?

maybe she will sign with him

Epic Records????

Does she want to be the next Avril Lavigne? :awkwarddd: terrible label tbh. If she's thinking of this, might as well stay with RCA.

Move to Columbia records pls.

I think Britney will be around for quit a while, for the next decade or two atleast. She's just gonna pop back and out throughout the years imo. But I don't think we'll be seeing her do anything for the next 4-5 years.

Well, it's not a complete "exclusive" since we all have thought about it since she released BJ (or at least I have wished for her not to go back). It's nothing new that her contract is done; the only thing that we still have to wait and see is if she's going to a new record label or moving to a farm far away from the city. :crying1:

:gloria: Don't prep yourselves for a fucking meltdown you dweebs lol  :D

Besides, RCA's contract ended with Britney Jean.  :uhwtf:  Her contract is with Planet Hollywood currently, and until that is over she probably won't fork herself over to any other label.

:crying1:

I don't see Britney signing another big contract. MAYBE like a two album contract...MAYBE

Yeah I've got a big feeling her next album will be her last and she'll announce her retirement and a farewell tour. Imagine the fight that will ensue between labels to get those last album rights.

I hope she leaves RCA/Sony for real.
If she decides to release more music(We still don't know if she will retire after Vegas residency or not...) Universal/Interscope is the best option for her or she can always create her own label.

I've got a big feeling BJ was her last album and The Vegas gig is like her farewell tour :crying1:

But I hope I am wrong!

THANKS GOD! I'M BEGGING THIS TO BE TRUE!

It is a true story I heard about it, about a year ago. Britney's 8th Album was her final commitment. They said last year there was no intention of Britney renewing her Contract with RCA Records.

This rumor has been going on for 10 God damn years.. Just because you heard about it doesn't make it true tbh.. We've all heard about it since GH:MP

I remember reading before that LA Reid and Barry Weiss were fighting for her to be on their respective labels (Epic and Island Def Jam). I was really hoping she'd go Barry since he was from Jive so he pretty much worked with her her entire career, but then Barry left Island Def Jam and now I'm just like :crying2:

Sony will fight to keep her because her back music is still a consistent seller.

Britney is the one who chose not to do any promo for Criminal and BJ. The only issue they have any control of is that they released ballads and Britney has really only had one ballad hit. That was because of the JT break up. RCA doesn't know how to pick hits. When they get them, it's about timing or the artist/EP/Mangement picked a great single choice. Britney is loving Ballads right now so that is what she goes for instead of trying to find the perfect release off the album. She doesn't really care about hits.
