ideas for perfume performance in POM

I had this idea yesterday of Britney singing perfume in a huge perfume bottle!

 

it would be pink and all and the effects would be these rose petals falling everywhere (kinda resembling of ''he loves me, he loves me not etc.'') and outside the bottle there would be a man and a blonde girl dancing very passionately (you can't see their faces) and Britney would be all jealous almost at the end of the song the bottle would break (she would break it or something) and at the end she would shot the girl and then the man would runaway and she notices that the girl she was dancing with was ''herself'' and her man left her because she was so obsessed and jealous.

 

sounds really unclear but i think it would make a cool performance! what do you think?

Great idea! I love the performance anyway because the song is a masterpiece. It's one of the only songs she can perform only sitting or standing because the song is so perfect

Everything was great until you mentioned the shooting and the running. Not quite sure how that will be executed on the stage.

 

But at this point, I'll be happy with any effects added to the Perfume performance. I know that it's a chance for the audience to sit down for a bit, but it doesn't have to be so boring. I was thinking that she can stand up on one of the elevated areas while three dancers (2 girls and 1 boy) dance with each other on the stage like in the DLMBTLTK performance on DWAD.

Maybe for a tv performance but that won't be happening in pom. They would have to shorten something else. And the fans would bitch. They have to keep the show short and sweet because going to see Britney is only one of the things they want you do while in Vegas. Shopping, Dinner, Britney, Hitting the Casino and then perhaps to the clubs.

 

I like the idea to a degree but I don't think the shooting is necessary to highlight how the song is about worrying your relationship to an end. I get how having a beautiful visual would be awesome and very Vegas. 

 

I would do something a little different. They would wheel out a vanity mirror and a day bed then turn the screens into giant windows and have a thunderstorm brewing. Britney can put on a man's shirt like she wears in the Everytime video. Britney can do her thing of siting and walking as she performs the song. But between the lighting strikes the screens will show Britney and her her guy doing a waltz and laughing. And On Stage the Guy will be dancing and laughing with some girl clearly not Britney.  Britney will Spray herself with the Perfume and sprayers will spray a little out into the audience. At the end of the song Britney will fall asleep in the day bed. Brit's guy will come home in a business suit. He will kiss and cover her up.

great idea bb but the best thing to do rn is get rid off the playback and hear godneys voice like we did yesterday with the acapellas
