First my thoughts on the SB rumors:

I had a feeling those rumors were false and I also think her team planted them because it's a way to gauge the public's interest in her performing since she's said she wants to.

And I think she could for sure but she's gotta work the award show circuit for a bit longer and she needs to be militant about the rehearsals for those so her true talent free of visible nerves can shine. And word of the street is that Christina is performing at the vma' s this year and I'm sure Britney and tinashe will be picking up nominations for SP- what better time for her to perform there and blow it out the park.

 

What would you imagine brit's super bowl show to look like at this moment:

Mine: 

Britney and her dancers would do a faux cheerleading routine on the sidelines that led to them carrying her to the stage while performing work bitch. Then she would transition into scream and shout with (I know I know) Will.I.Am and then the black eyed peas come out minus Fergus and adding (I know I know) Justin Timberlake and they do a remix of Let's Get it Started, and then BEP disappears, JT and Britney perform a version of me against the music, he disappears and Madonna pops out to do her verse and they perform together over a remix of MATM & Human Nature, then the stage goes dark on the line "I'm not your bitch don't lay your shit on me (obviously censored)" then the lights come back to find brit alone on a silver chair, here she does a version of stronger that starts off slow and then rapidly picks up the beat until it's more of a stadium anthem, all the while she dances on and around the chair, as she get to the chorus and the song ends on that "iiiiiiim stronger!" There's a burst of pyros and drums and guitars going off a she stands in one of her trademark stances and says thank you, takes her bow, and runs off the stage.

I agreed only with this. The rest is shit. She needs to perform SOLO performance with some non-singles material + some hits and with new vocals, or 100% live ap.

I think we can all agree that she will NOT be nominated at the VMAs, or attend, or perform...

i'm kinda scared because i reaaaaaaly dont want to waste 2 hours of my sunday watching VMAs and the only reason i would is if Taylor performs.

so far its a known fact that Justin and Katy will perform, possibly Ariana as a tribute to Manchester... Miley with her new album too and the rest will be Nicki and her pals as usual

if Britney was to do the show id want her to do 50% her songs and 50% others.

theres something spectacular about Britney singing songs that dont belong to her... Imagine her doing 'we will rock you' with the whole stadium joining, like the iconic ad.

Sidenote: I do think Brit will get nominated for SP. She won't win but I think it's a lock for at least best pop video, best choreography and best collab (if that's a thing).
