You're not going to find legal documents about minors. She didn't lose custody she voluntarily gave it up, that's actually a big difference that makes regaining it different. Primary custody in this case wouldn't be about making legal/medical decisions and very obviously about the amount of UNSUPERVISED time she has with her children. I know you're a big opponent to the conservatorship, but you need to open your eyes, do some research and realize Britney is NOT a poor locked up miserable woman under it. She has MANY MANY "freedoms" and rights as an adult. Things aren't black and white and we are not and will never be unless she releases it, privy to the details of her situation. We can only judge what we see and what we see is Britney happy, healthy, and ALONE with her children.

The C-Ship revolves around financial stuff, meaning she doesn't have full control over her money only. In regards to anything else, she's free to do as what she pleases.

Sure, it might cripple her decision making process a bit, but she's definitely not even close to a child rights wise. The C-Ship is not THAT dire as some have made it out to be.

Britney Spears' dad, Jamie, is super upset at Kevin Federline, who called him pleading for more child support when, in fact, all he wants is to jump on her gravy train.

Sources connected to Britney tell TMZ, last Friday K-Fed called Jamie and said he was in a financial bind and wanted to talk about raising his child support. TMZ broke the story K-Fed has been pulling in $20k a month for child support for years, but he now says it's not enough.

We're told Jamie was suspicious and asked Kevin where the $20k was going, but Kevin hedged.

Our sources say, last week, Jamie got a letter from Kevin's lawyer, asking him if they could sit down and talk. They did indeed have a talk, and we're told the lawyer explained now that 12-year-old Sean and 11-year-old Jayden have gotten older, Kevin needed more than $20k.

We're told Jamie pressed again, asking what the kids needed that they weren't getting. We're told Kevin's lawyer wouldn't answer, but said his client needed the means to take care of the 2 kids at Britney's level. Jamie fired back ... Britney's taking care of the kids the way she always did -- nothing's changed.

Our sources say the lawyer repeatedly talked about Britney's recent successes -- particularly her sold-out Vegas shows -- saying she was making a lot more money. Britney has paid Kevin a fortune in various forms of support over the years. When they divorced in 2007, she cut him a check for $1.3 million and he got spousal support for several years and continues to get child support.

Agreed. We'll see where things end up ... I read somewhere else that this is actually the second time Kevin's come to her for increased child support, and general consensus seems to be - well, that he just wants more money.

 

I remember thinking when Kevin had his SIXTH kid - how tf is he affording all of these kids???? Especially since his DJ job is up and down and he only makes about $1k/show. When he has one.

IKR!!! How is he taking care of all these kids and does his wife even work?? Britney isn’t a fucking bank, he needs to get that through his head!!

 

Plus the fact that he’s not willing to answer Jamie’s questions about what the money is going toward is extremely sketchy, the courts should force him to share  that info.

Well it's important for kids to see both of their parents when it's possible. I don't think Britney needs the c-ship either but like you said none of us know what's happening behind the scenes, what the sittuation really is. We don't have access to her medical files or court files

I’ve also read, a loooooong time ago, that Britney is protected against any potential lawsuits from that contemptuous time period, if certain individuals chose to file them. Another reason to leave it in place, if true.

I have no idea about US laws and I may sound stupid but, what's the relation between her c-ship and children custody? I mean why it's impossible to have custody of her children when she's under the c-ship? Wasn't it for the kids at first place? She agreed to go under a c-ship to spend more time with her kids, right? I'm lost.
