Hi my name is Stephanie Wilkinson, and I had the pleasure of meeting Britney on 7/20 at the Borgata in AC!!! I really cannot put into words how it felt to meet the person I have looked up to since I was a little girl. She was my first concert when I was in kindergarten, and I was of course rocking a Britney backpack from day 1. To this day I still get chills/hype when I hear “Oops” or “Baby One More Time” (love me some classic Brit). Anyways, I saw Britney front row last summer in Vegas which was an amazing experience, but unfortunately meet and greets were sold out the night I was there. I left the show wanting more but was sad knowing I couldn’t make it back to Vegas before her residency was over. So I was beyond thrilled when I learned she was touring and coming so close to home (philly area). As soon as I saw she was coming to Bethlehem and AC, tickets were purchased and I knew I HAD to meet her while I had the chance. I bought these tickets back in December so I had been looking forward to this for quite some time, and before I knew it the day had finally come. I was shaking with excitement while putting my makeup on because I just couldn’t believe I was about to meet my idol in a few very short hours, it just didn’t seem real. It still doesn’t seem real!!! While standing outside waiting to go in to meet Britney I thought I knew exactly what I was going to say and that I would be calm cool and collected. Well…the second I walked in and saw Britney all those thoughts escaped my mind and I was just so incredibly star struck that I couldn’t form words. She was even more beautiful in person!!! I walked over and asked for a hug and just told Britney how much I love her and her music, and that I’ve looked up to her since I was little. She thanked me and was so incredibly sweet. I was so sad that my time with her was over and wish I had another chance. Luckily I got called back in to retake the photo so I was able to catch that extra time with Britney which I cherished so greatly. The VIP guide made a comment about how we matched since we were both wearing pink and had blonde hair, and we shared a laugh over it. Overall this experience was something I will never forget, and if you are a true Britney fan I highly recommend doing the meet and greet-it’ll mean the world to you!
