That's normal. Workers who make tips have a much lower "minimum wage" than workers who don't make tips.

Which is why it's shitty for someone not to leave a tip or less than fifteen percent.

i agree... my husband is a server so I know what it's like

:lmfaoo:

I don't either, unless I really like the place or the waiter/waitress was really really cool and kind and polite and fun.

Otherwise: IT'S YOUR FUCKING JOB AND YOU'RE BEING PAID FOR IT, why should I give you any more money? :byebitch:

Servers get paid way less than minimum wage. The rest of the workers in the resteraunt make around 7-8 dollars an hour while waiters and waitresses make 2-3 dollars an hour plus tips. That's why if you don't have money to tip, then don't eat.

I don't want to think of Britney this way

(In America servers make a third of the minimum wage and their income literally depends on the kindness of tips. In some other countries servers at least make minimum wage)

So I am going to believe she simply forgot.

Britney Spears gave a waiter $100 after he helped calm down her five-year-old son Jayden. The Hold It Against Me singer was out eating at a restaurant in San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles with Jayden and six-year-old son Sean when her youngest began crying and wouldn't stop.

because they get paid minimum wage (if not less) and only work 4-6 hrs max per shift. They don't get scheduled 5 days per week all the time and at least 50% of their income is from tips. Educate yourself before you speak  :icanttt:

Servers only make about a third of minimum wage. Their income literally depends on tips.

You do know the minimum wage for waiters is far less than it is for every other positions (in the states at least) because it's customary to tip. I'm sorry but people should tip or not eat/drink out.

So much for the American Dream, huh? :ummlol: In my country, it's against the law to pay below the minimum wage, so all waiters/waitresses get paid fairly enough. And, as I said, I do tip them when they're really cool and polite. :mhm:

Don't even reply to me before educating yourself about minimun wage in all countries. :queenflopga:

OT: At the end of the day it's Britney's money, she can do whatever she wants with it. :byebitch:

It's not the end of the world if she didn't want to tip that bitch (or forgot? Who knows. Who cares). She's paid for random kids' happy meals at McDonald's and stuff. Stop bitching about this shit and acting as if Britney is a tacky bitch who complaints about other artists or steals things from stores (except that lighter :nowaygif: )

Have you forgotten about all those waiters who said Britney gave them 20 bucks or more and that she was really sweet and down to Earth? Yeah, that's what I thought. :overitkbye:

First of all... I never said anything about Britney, I don't believe she wouldn't tip  :uhno:

Second... why would we care what they do in other countries or how they tip. :dontlike:

This topic is about Britney Spears (supposedly) NOT tipping in AMERICA   :smokney:

I tip 20% for good service and 10% for poor. I usually pay by debit but I like to always pay tip with cash if I can. I  always pay cash for at least 5% of the tip so that the server can report it to their boss or other places only if they want ;)

And with Britney, I heard there was a time where she refused to pay for anything. She realized that everybody was inviting her places and making her pay. This is probably when she got this not paying tip rep.

First of all, servers DO NOT get paid minimum wage in America, they pretty much rely on tips because they make like 2$/hr so make sure to ALWAYS TIP YOUR SERVERS. (unless they are complete ASSHOLES)

Second of all, we know Britney is very generous and I do not believe this for a second. Britney even said she used to take care of entire meals for all of her "friends" back in 2007 :crying3:

She used to let these same "Friends" go out with her Black Amex card!
