Judge Penny set this status hearing for June 23 at 1:30 p.m. PT at Stanley Mosk Courthouse! “The conservatee has requested that I seek from the court a status hearing at which she can address the court directly,” Sam Ingham III told Judge Brenda Penny. While Ingham did not disclose the specific matters that Britney, 39, would like to address, the attorney shared the hearing would pertain to the “status of the conservatorship.” “My client asked that it be done on expedited basis,” Ingham added, emphasizing the urgency with which Britney would like to appear before the court. Other matters pertaining to today’s hearing — regarding the estate’s accounting documents — were pushed back to a separate July 14 court date. The judge also granted a motion allowing the sealing of documents from public view pertaining to Jodi Montgomery, the temporary conservator of the person set to take over for Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, in September.
