While her promotion methods are a big reason as to why Britney Jean flopped... the quality of music also had something to do with it I think. It's not a very good album and that's an opinion mostly shared by the general public (well, the part of the general public that knows the album exists). It got negative reviews when it was released and I think that stuck with a lot of people. 

 

I know she had another amazing album in her, and I hope we get to hear it soon.

yeah, but generally albums sell much less than even in 2011. And yeah also imo FF is better than BJ, but you can't put all the blame on Will.i.am, because a) You can clearly hear that Myah sings in almost every song b) britney is the one who's album it is c) she didn't promote. it's not like will.i.am denied britney to promote

Too many reasons.

The main one is that she and her team and her label didn't promote hard compared to others..Will.i.am's bad production of course is one reason of them though.

 

With a different label(Interscope maybe),a different EP,and herself doing enough promo(at least one live performance),i think her next album would be much more successful.

For worst albums have more success. It's about single choice and promotion. All hell broke out in the fan base the days after Work Bitch premiered and the fans pretty much abandoned.  Britney didn't perform as they expected and there was a major meltdown that spread through the internet. 

 

And Britney has always had extra singers. I know Myah kind of sounds like Britney and everybody goes insane about it. But Britney has always been like a main singer of a group. 

 

And Will i am isn't really the one to blame for the Glitches and such. He was doing stuff for his own career when the final touches of BJ were happening. It's Anthony Preston physical fault and Will i am's inattention and Britney's team's decision to not push the release back.

 

BJ is a different type of album for Britney and different always needs promotion.
