well everybody can answer but here is the question...

what made you choose being a Britney fan instead of a Xtina, Mandy Moore or Jessica Simpson?

you know, at that time this 4 were like the 4 pop "princess" ( we know Brit is the only one :dealwitit: )

I never was into christina's music, and she seems bitchy

and mandy and jessica were just boring to me

Britney was always more fun to me :-* , with catchy song and choreography :fyea:  and fun videos :britney-badass:

what about you guys??????

Extra question: why do you think Britney stand out more than the others??

I liked the other girls, but Britney was the main one. I liked her the most and thought she was the prettiest, followed by Mandy. Plus I was introduced to Britney first, so everyone else paled in comparison tbh.

First of all I want to say hi (I need to work on my profile I know) I remember first seeing and hearing Britney I would say around September of 98 if I am not mistaken. Her video was a freebie right after the Back street boys on "the box" which was program where you could order videos over the phone and they would play them. From that moment on I was hooked. She was cute, sassy and had power pop all over her. What made me pick her over others was that she was the first in that genre to come out and had a very relate able persona to her which I really enjoyed. As well as the fact that she is a year older than me so her song were definitely relate able.

I used to like Xtina before, as much as I like Britney . Come On Over & What A Girl Wants is totally my jam back then. But after Britney came out with Slave and Xtina came out with Dirrty, which I found Xtina is super ugly and unclassy, unlike Britney, then I only give all my hearts to Brit   ;)

Initially it was because I heard BOMT first and saw the music video first and I thought it was catchier than Genie in a Bottle. I was freakin obsessed with BOMT. I listened to it every day with my ears agaist the speaker trying to imitate her baby voice lol. I LOVED Britney's voice and thought Christinas was good but she just didn't have that special sound. Britney's was unique and Christina just sounded like any other singer with a big voice to me. Everything Britney did was superior in my opinion. That includes songs, music videos, style, personality, dancing, and performances. Britney's performances was like no other artist out there. Britney seemed more humble and relatable than Christina. On top of all of that Britney was the prettier, cuter, and sexier one :britney-agreedlol:

I loved both baby and genie in a bottle, but christina can't dance, so I chose britney ahaha

i was at the virgin megastore and i saw her CD at one of those listening stations so i listened to the first song off the CD which was BOMT. i thought i had heard it before and my mom bought the CD for me

the next day at school i was asking all my friends if they knew who britney spears was and everyone was like ? no who's that, like one girl kindof knew who she was

and that's how i fell in love with britney haha

for the other girls tho, they just didnt really interest me. i didnt like mandy's music, christina's first CD wasn't that great and i didnt like her attitude, and i liked jessica because she was from dallas too, but not as much as i loved britney.

something about her. just the different amazing flawless personality tbh. mandy was boring as fuck! and jessica too. she was a spoiled child so people related to brit more. christina was annoying with her screaming voice and she was the biggest bitch, when she tried acting sexy she looked like trash tbh and always seemed like a britney wannabe. i grew up during the late 90s so i was very young back than but i still remember a lot. her flawlessness drew everybody in. she had the real star power and that is only something that is god given. she just had that gift. the gift to b herself, to b so down to earth and humble and be funny - b a perfect woman completely so that is why the GP fell in love with her.

aww man i miss those kind of memories. she was on top of the world. i miss seeing her face everywhere. literally. she was so big, like she was in charge of the whole music industry. i cant believe how much of that is gone nowadays. she owned the world tbh. i identified with her so much. i feel like i dont have my rock my role model to look up to anymore. the world feels so lonely now that she is gone from spotlight (it is definitely nowhere even close as to how much she was under spotlight back than compared to now) but it is nice to look back at totaly   :o

I love the music!

I also loved Britney's personality around Oops era.

Slaveney made me drool over her.

It was everything. She is flawless.

I will say I always loved Xtina's music as well...until Lotus

Britney had better music for my taste. And her tone was very distinct and attractive to me ears. She had/has an unbelievable presence-Just a unique "IT" quality.

I like Mandy Moore but she just has this small presence about her. The first time I even heard of her she was opening for the Backstreet boys. Her songs just weren't very good. I liked her song form Center stage better though but still a frail presence. I liked her as an actress better. Presence wise.

Jessica was always so try hard musically even though she had a nice voice and seemed nice. She just seemed like she was trying to be liked instead of making music and performing.

Christina just has this negative atmosphere around her. She's always just brought my mood down when ever watching her. I did like her music at first but her aura turned me against being a fan.
