Some say, "Britney liked the song."

Others disagree, "there were legal issues..."

What is the real reason? And tbh what is the difference? I think the intro is a bit more techno on the Circus version and also the vocals are a bit lower. Am I right or no? :aintevenmad:

Don't troll me, I just always loved the song and I've always wondered. :mhm:

All I know rn is that the original MV concept was scrapped.

ummmmm jkjk i always thought that it was supposed to be a single off of blackout but since britney wasn't in the right mindset at the time it would have been released they postponed it

another theory, originally i hear the plan was to re release blackout with some new material but they had recorded enough they just decided to just do another album, and so we have circus,  radar could have been planned to be the first single off of the re release of blackout

and yet another theory, radar is produced by bloodshy and avant, the masterminds behind toxic, radar could have been contracted from them to be a single, wasn't honored on blackout hence it being on circus

There's a contract that it had to be release as a single if not mistaken..

Its like Outrageous had a deal that it had to be released as a single.. Imagine if its not released during ITZ.. it would be included in Blackout album bonus track  :overthis:

There aren't any differences between the version on circus and blackout. There's a fake alternate version that was put on torrents on the circus album, but as I said its fake. It sounds a lot like your describing

yea, I think they posted it as the "radio" version or something, but I'm not sure if it's official or not tbh :aintevenmad:

I didn't think there was a difference, I thought it was the exact same version of the song on both albums. I think they included it on the Circus album so it could be a single. I remember reading somewhere it was contracted to be a single, not sure of the entire story.
