Let's be real, Britney makes more in a night, then the ACM's entire budget, so they had to do something to get ratings.

Besides, pretty sure Jamie Lynn confirmed she didn't walk out, nor does she even care about the joke, as she's heard her sister sing many times, and he knows the truth. I'm trying to find her instagram post about it.

It doesn't matter whether or not what he said is true, it matters that he's an asshole using Britney's name for ratings for their awards. What does Britney have to do with country music? Absolutely nothing. There was zero need for the "joke" especially considering you conveniently didn't post the final image in that post, where one of the country artists admitted to lip synching their performance.
