The whistle in I Wanna Go samples the opening jingle from The Twilight Zone.

I've made a thread about this before, but it's been a while (probably a year or two.)

 

Compare the whistle noise to this and you tell me

All you gotta watch is the first 7 seconds to get the jingle.

 

 

 

 

For those who don't know, Twilight Zone was a popular show in the 50's or 60's that focused mainly on Sci-fi and horror. It was extremely popular and has had 2 revivals. (One in the 80's, one in 2006? I think? And I think another is happening soon.)

 

Either way, knowing Dr Luke has a history of copyright, and the jingle has the same (or at least similar) notes for the whistle.

Plus, I think at one point, Britney (or someone close to her) said they were a fan of the show.

I remember growing up on those as a kid. God it makes you feel so old when you watch things like that now, but they're creepier now than back then
