what was your first reaction when you saw britney in concert was it like this guys . the first concert i saw of hers was circus i went with my sisters and when she started coming down from the roof i started crying. It was like omg after years of idolising her as a child up until then there she was she was strong again and doing her thing. although femme fetale i didn't cry cos she was back to normal for a couple of years by then so it was like going to a regular concerto. my older sister who wasn't even a britney fan whos music choice is too cool for school even got all excited and swept up in it.

14 years later and this performance a melting pot of musical genres -- rock, hip-hop, R&B, pop -- is still recognized as one of the best in the show's history. The main headliners were Aerosmith & *NSYNC of course, but Britney's appearance practically overshadowed them all. She sounds great, but it's her look that is still remembered to this day. Is that a sock?! Yes it is, and it's impact was real. Both Beyoncé & Kelly wore similar arm gloves months later for their NBA halftime show performance with DC.
