Yup, it was as bad as I thought it would, but there was something that really really REALLY made me mad. I'm not even gonna get into how inaccurate most of the movie was because the thing that bothered me the most was how a 90% of the film was about her dating life. I mean, she's one of the most powerful women in the industry, even since she debuted she kept achieving incredible milestones until she became the pop legend that she is now, and yet the movie didn't focus on any of that, like, according to them Britney's entire life was related to her relationship with Justin Timberlake. So I just finished watching an episode of America's Next Top Model (yes it's still airing) and was really happy to see that they chose Britney as one of the superstar "boss ladies" to impersonate. The other options were Madonna, Tina Turner, Grace Jones, Beyonce, Katy Perry (no comment here), and... Tyra Banks. I was also happy to see that Britney is still relevant and not just some legendary superstar, but actually a boss (in other words, I guess someone in control of their lives and someone who can inspire other women). I was REALLY hesitant to watch her promo appearances because she seems so cocky about playing Britney and I hate this project but after watching her in her interviews Idk I'm like really conflicted. like I would be friends with her IRL or something she seems nice.
