I'm not excited by Britney music anymore since FF. So i'm not excited for the next album either. I even said in another thread i wish she would just retire now from the music industry and do some movies or some business like her lingerie, because i would be a lot more excited by this. The fact that she apparently signed for 5 more albums is worrying me a lot because i'm scared it will be worse and worse, and will completely ruin her reputation in music industry.

Her music became shit and lost her "mark" since FF imo (by that i mean, her music doesn't sound Britney anymore, but sounds like everything else. Anybody could sing her songs like Katy Perry, Keesha and other shitty singers, and it would be no different), and if she continues in this direction, i'm sorry but it will be the end of the Legendary Miss Britney Spears, the one who did amazing, innovative and quality music.

Some fans still believe it's 100% Britney tho, just "edited and autotuned" :drown:

Well... Anthony give us some infos about the album, he said Britney wants to work again with writers and producers who have worked on Femme Fatale and also with Diplo, which would mean again and more EDM and generic shit  :boring:

Thanks PopMusicJunkie! Yes RN1814 remains the flaw-free masterpiece  :dealwitit:  When I think that Britney wanted to recreate it with Britney Jean

, unfortunately they didn't let her do what she wanted to do  :crying1:

I can handle shade towards Britney Jean because the production side of things is where the album really falls apart courtesy of Anthony Preston & will.i.am.  But not towards Femme Fatale, it's a slickly produced, sonically forward-thinking album (IMO).  I don't recall any albums before FF with pop-dubstep influences, but there were a slew of albums and songs that came after it's release.   Lyrically it's very generic, I agree, her objective was to be the sex siren throughout the entire album and nothing else but it was cohesive and lived up to the title.  (I disagree that Katy Perry could have pulled off "Hold it Against Me," yes it was inspired by her but Brit's vocal ticks made that song, I feel the same way regrading Ke$ha with "Till the World Ends.")  So I'm not opposed to her working with Max Martin, Dr. Luke, etc, or even Diplo (I like "Passenger" just hate that Myah sings it) on her next album.  Anthony Preston & will.i.am can stay the hell away tho.   I'll be praying.   :Godney:

Yes! Britney first & foremost is inspired by Janet and I like that she continues to give her props.  RN1814, I was just listening to that album a few days ago and I continue to love it.  Mixing social consciences lyrics with hard hitting new jack/jill swing beats, while continuing to evolve and explore her sexuality was done so well.  I stan so hard for both song & video for "Love Will Never Do" it's not even funny.   :o
