Alright, we know this sounds weird, but hear us out. After the disastrous Britney Jean,  Spears needs a new musical direction because vacant dance-pop is no longer working. Enter Sheeran, who could probably pull emotion out of a box of Frosted Flakes. He’s just want Spears needs to deliver music that causes us to rage and feel the feels.

Plus, Sheeran already wants to collaborate with Brit Brit. During a Q&A at the#AmazonFrontRow event in London last week, he said, “Yeah. I mean she’s had consistent hits for a while, but I wouldn’t write ‘Work Bitch.’ “I’d go and do something a bit more like ‘Everytime.’ I’m a Britney fan! I’ve actually got the Greatest Hits – I cook to it.â€
