Britney has said it herself she is inspired by Whitney and would love to have a voice like her. Well, she was getting there vocally in BOMT and OIDIA, but the baby voice took over and has been here ever since (which is a unique sound, but doing it all the time only hurt her voice). It went away some in BJ, but her voice still didn't sound as good as in songs like Let Go and Baby Boy.

Going the Whitney route would earn her a lot of respect as a singer. Getting influence from Madonna would give her more shock factor, imo. But let's face it, it would be shocking if Britney belted out some songs like she did when she was 17 and did it live.

Yassssss if she got her bomtney vocals the world would be shocked and she would for once be known as one of the best vocalist in pop...during bomt era all those teen girls such as xtina, Jessica, brandy, Monica, and Aaliyah had amazing vocals so she didn't necessarily seem the best but bomtney vocals vs Miley, Katy, and even gaga would seem miles better...and she's in her thirties and a mom now...she doesn't wanna be shocking anymore so y not go the respect route...it would take focus off of her dancing and she'd finally get the respect she deserves as a TALENTED icon...her bomt voice is still there I heard it during that happy birthday on X factor she just needs to learn to control her voice...I was surprised to see how powerful her voice still was in that clip she sounded like the "stand by me" clip from bomt era on that "happyyyy burrrRrrDay" part(ik u know what I'm talkin bout)

lol hhaa i totally agree. she IS better  but britney has had her lowest moments and im sure she herself isnt too proud of them. ray of light was on point. i guess maybe its because its more like my style. i kno everyone has their own so maybe thats why u have such a different opinion but personally, i'd loveeee to see something like that britney do nowadays. always.
