Songwriter Ina Wroldsen - writer of "He About To Lose Me" - says "it is one of my proudest moments. She didn't bother to sing the chorus herself".

The Pussycat Dolls, Leona Lewis, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Pixie Lott, to name a few, can all thank Ina Wroldsen for top positions on the charts. NRK met her in London three years ago, where she lives with her family. Ina Wroldsen has worked with Spears for several years.

Wroldsen uses her own voice to sell her songs to others. Producer David Eriksen said in the interview that it is the best selling trick she has. "The way she sings is unique, so the listener can feel just by hearing her interpretation of her own song", says Eriksen. It is she who has written the lyrics to the song "He About to lose me." But she did not know that her voice had been used in the chorus. "I discovered it when I heard it on the car stereo", Wroldsen says to NRK.

I have already known it? The chorus doesn't sound like Britney, and they didn't try to make it sound like her to fool anyone. I still love this song though.

We already knew this lol......i don't wanna sound britarded but I think I heard steam version and I think Britney sang chorus in whispery low/deep register...... Ger voice was flaw free in verses tho

the chorus is the worst part of the song

I personally think the chorus itself could have been better imagined from a production, songwriting, and performance perspective

 

still it's a good song

 

and Britney does sing background vocals lower in the mix, so it's not entirely true

 

and this shouldn't really be news to anyone tbh

I think everyone knew it already lol. 

 

Tho i don't understand why she doesn't even sing her own songs.. And i don't understand either why it's not named as "featuring" , because at the end there IS another singer on the song who is doing main vocals so, i think it's kind of unfair.

But something that bothers me the most is, how the fuck that woman wasn't even aware she was on the chorus ? Like; they can use the voice from anybody and they wouldn't even know, wtf?! Myah Marie probably doesn't even know she's used a lot in Britney songs then :drown:

i think they did that because that voice "sounded good" on the song". But I don't like it  :4music:

 

 

 

PS: And there are people that still want that album #9 sounds like Femme Fatale (autotune and songs that doesn't have Britne's voice on some parts)  :zoomzoom: I think FF is a good album, but no, thank you  :britney-arrow:
