I agree it's not my normal Britney album. But, I do listen to this album and feel I get to hear her voice again. (I'm not silly, some is robobrit). Just spreading my happiness for our latest album! 1

I love when she uses her natural contralto voice mixed in with not the baby voice, but a pretty falsetto. I appreciate Britney Jean for her singing in Perfume, Hold on tight, and the like. But she did have nice ballads and midtempos in which she used her voice well in Circus (Blur, Unusual You, My Baby, Out From Under), Blackout (Baby Boy, Outta This World, Let Go, Break the Ice [she starts the song in a flawless low tone and then goes up into a falsetto]), and of course ITZ with Everytime and Shadow. So I don't think BJ is totally special in this regard. Following FF, it was refreshing to hear something other than autotuned baby voice for almost an entire album (although I like FF). If only they'd strayed away from the EDM...... 2
