BLACKOUT<3 Posted October 9, 2014 #1 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Add State Of Grace and Hooked On and Rebellion Singles: 1) Piece Of Me #3 Released September 18, 2007 Performed at the VMAS instead of Gimme More Promo Single: Why Should I Be Sad and Break The Ice Blackout Released October 26, 2007 2) Gimme More #1 Released November 27, 2007 Britneys version 3) Radar #4 Released February 21, 2008
LiaLovesGodney Posted October 9, 2014 #2 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Oh the endless possibilities for Blackout. Every song is single worthy and had Britney not gone through her issues, it would have been an amazing era. Had she performed Piece of Me instead of Gimme More, the overall message of POM would have overshadowed any hiccups she had (unless she still wouldn't have partied the night before and Sarah Silverman hadn't been such a shady bish right before Brit went on). 1
ToxicGuy5 Posted October 9, 2014 #3 Report Posted October 9, 2014 singles: 1. POM 2. Radar 4. Freakshow
LiaLovesGodney Posted October 9, 2014 #4 Report Posted October 9, 2014 singles: 1. POM 2. Radar 4. Freakshow Radar?

Babydoll Posted October 9, 2014 #8 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Baby boy should be on Blackout tbh , with a music video and live performance
LiaLovesGodney Posted October 9, 2014 #9 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Ffs...... So what albums do you like? Because your taste is questionable.
ToxicGuy5 Posted October 9, 2014 #10 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Ffs...... So what albums do you like? Because your taste is questionable. can you not see my avi? http://britney-galaxy.com/universe/topic/10170-britneys-best-album/
LiaLovesGodney Posted October 9, 2014 #11 Report Posted October 9, 2014 can you not see my avi? http://britney-galaxy.com/universe/topic/10170-britneys-best-album/ Didn't care enough to even look at it, tbh. :fabrit: Blackout is basically like FF, but not as....happy and EDM-y.
ToxicGuy5 Posted October 9, 2014 #12 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Didn't care enough to even look at it, tbh. :fabrit: Blackout is basically like FF, but not as....happy and EDM-y. They are not even close!
LiaLovesGodney Posted October 9, 2014 #13 Report Posted October 9, 2014 They are not even close! Compared to all other Britney albums, they are most similar in the fact that they are full of club songs and have a very cohesive tracklist.
PrinceAli89 Posted October 10, 2014 #14 Report Posted October 10, 2014 The album is so amazing and so solid that any song released with proper promotion of course had potential to go #1. All 3 Blackout singles did go to #1 on Billboard Dance Club Play chart, so at least the album did get club recognition if anything.
Ally_cat Posted October 10, 2014 #15 Report Posted October 10, 2014 I would change nothing, except a rerelease box set with all the demos and all of the rejects (rebellion included) 1
blackoutbaby09 Posted October 10, 2014 #16 Report Posted October 10, 2014 I would hire will.i.am as the executive producer and have him produce every song on Blackout. Gimme More would be renamed to Gimme More Bitch!, which would be the first single. "Now Gimme More Bitch!" The second single would be Piece Of Me (ft. will.i.am) with will.i.am on the chorus and Britney just singing the verses. Then she could release Freakshow ft. Sabi & Myah Marie and Why Should I Be Sad is too personal so they would cut it out and put another will.i.am collab in which would be released as the final single. Also Piece Of Me is too personal so the lyrics would be changed to be sexual. Like "I'm Ms. Perfect Britney when I am in your wet dream." I think this is the way to a #1 album. 2

blackoutbaby09 Posted October 10, 2014 #18 Report Posted October 10, 2014 lets not The scary thing is if she had her same team around the Blackout era this is probably similar to what we would get.
BLACKOUT<3 Posted October 10, 2014 Author #19 Report Posted October 10, 2014 The scary thing is if she had her same team around the Blackout era this is probably similar to what we would get. whats scary is when Britney was in hell.. she made a Orgasmic album.. the best album of 2000s... and then she made a shitty album Britney Jean when shes happy I wouldnt blame her.. in 2007 Britney had wayyyyyy more control of her music.. now she doesnt have control I swear to god.. if her team let britney do her thang.. shed slay the fuck out and kill beyonces career

Britney's team makes no sense. 1

ValetGirls Posted October 10, 2014 #22 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Stay with Gimme More as lead single to ensure the pop culture cementation of "it's Britney, bitch", but pull the VMA performance. Release Get Back as a jab at critics: if you don't like new Britney on a mission and can't take it, then get back. The GP is slayed by another club banger. Usually you'd cave and release the ballad here, but Single 3 refuses to be Blackout's "Adore You." She slay the charts with a double A side of Freakshow/Hot as Ice, with Freakshow being the innovative radio-played single with the sexy af music video and Hot as Ice being another declarative statement by Brit as she begins to realign her life. Final single Piece of Me, performed at VMAs 2008, where she still wins hella awards and she's a certified legend. [/micdrop] GM - #3 GB - #8 FS - #6 (HAI hovers in the lower regions of the Top 40 as a result of the double A-side) POM - #5 The Blackout era could've steered Brit's image away from trainwreck towards pop badassery if the proper songs were chosen and promo was more targeted. The material was there, her team was not. I place my singles all in Top 10 because while there would be media attention still on Brit, I'd direct the interest more towards her music and what it'd say about her rather than the scrutiny placed on homegurl. I don't think any of them would've hit #1, considering the sound of Blackout is a bit too different from the rest of the Top 10/Top 40 at the time to have made serious headway at the time it was released.
MadDennis Posted October 10, 2014 #23 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Every song is perfect on Blackout, so I wouldn't change much: 1. Gimme More 2. Piece of Me 3. Ooh Ooh Baby 4. Break The Ice 5. Freakshow
