BLACKOUT<3 Posted October 11, 2014 #1 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Is it? Work Bitch peaked at #12 at the BB Hot 100.. and is britneys fastest vevo certified video however the critics and some die hard fans felt dissapointed (like me and the rest of the non-britards ) anyways post your thoughts 1
Archie Posted October 11, 2014 #4 Report Posted October 11, 2014 The song is amazing and the video is flawless. It might not have had a good performance on charts but the songs is known and it's always playing at nightclubs, it's almost an club anthem tbh (at least every time I go to a club, they play Work Bitch). 4
Fiyero Posted October 11, 2014 #5 Report Posted October 11, 2014 I don't think it is. I think people throw around "iconic" lol.Idk if it's the EDM thing (which I hate) or the fact that she just speaks the entire song basically, idk. I mean, it's grown on me and everything, but it's by no means my favorite Britney song. Most people I know only know of it in passing, not because it was some big smash. So to answer your original question, no. (not to me anyway lol) 1
FallingWithoutWings Posted October 11, 2014 #6 Report Posted October 11, 2014 no and staymad Is answering yourself fun? Was that gif really necessary? Don't be ignorant someone could be "non-britarded" ( i hate that) and still love the song. 1 1

Don't be ignorant someone could be "non-britarded" ( i hate that) and still love the song. I'm being a bitch... I'm the queen bitch of Britney universe Now bow down 1
Mr.Womanizer Posted October 11, 2014 #8 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Yes, its a Britney classic now. 3
ItsNathanbitch Posted October 11, 2014 #9 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Work Bitch remains flawless and unbothered. Stay pressed. 1
Brian.TheDog Posted October 11, 2014 #10 Report Posted October 11, 2014 no mediocre song, worse than MATM as a lead single 1
Britney M. Carey Posted October 11, 2014 #11 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Although it might sounds "cheap" for going EDM, its lyrics are very ear-catching and somewhat right. I prefer WB to Womanizer TBH 1
BritneYoncé Posted October 11, 2014 #12 Report Posted October 11, 2014 It's a good song and it's certainly at least known, but it's not iconic like TTWE or Womanizer
BLACKOUT<3 Posted October 11, 2014 Author #13 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Is answering yourself fun? Was that gif really necessary? Don't be ignorant someone could be "non-britarded" ( i hate that) and still love the song.Girl you rudeOh no no no honey don't mess with the legendary fuck Amy bitch
GimmeOnyx Posted October 11, 2014 #14 Report Posted October 11, 2014 I don't think it's iconic to the GP like Toxic per se, but it's a hit for me personally. It will always be in my bitch playlist (hello GM & S&S ), and a song I come back to years from now
BritCR Posted October 11, 2014 #15 Report Posted October 11, 2014 I think that maybe the phrase "Work,Bitch" has been used a lot thanks to the song, but in general the song itself isn't iconic
Mr American Dream Posted October 11, 2014 #16 Report Posted October 11, 2014 The work bitch is iconic not the song imo. The video is hot and fierce but the GP don't like it because of the lack of storyline.
Veis Posted October 11, 2014 #17 Report Posted October 11, 2014 The best song on BJ, but iconic? I can't say it now. 1
Captain Morgan Posted October 11, 2014 #18 Report Posted October 11, 2014 yes it is. in many years you will realize 1
VKTR Posted October 11, 2014 #19 Report Posted October 11, 2014 no and staymad I FOUND THIS REALLY FUNNY. And it is true that BY is the black spot in her musical history. I like Bj thoughWork bitch us not iconic. Lots of songs she's done in the past are much better but it is true that it is the most radio friendly material from BJ.
Guest blehh Posted October 11, 2014 #20 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Well......The song is good, i liked it from the first listen, the MV slays lives....but iconic? Not really, the song is not good enough, it did peak high on the charts, and it was played in the clubs A LOT , but iconic is an expression used for, bomt, oidia, toxic and womanizer (aka her best most influental singles).
daniel_essr Posted October 11, 2014 #21 Report Posted October 11, 2014 I think the phrase "You better work, bitch" is iconic. It's been used as a catchphrase and a wordplay by the media countless times. Of course it is not as well-known as "It's Britney, bitch", but it is remembered.
MadDennis Posted October 11, 2014 #22 Report Posted October 11, 2014 It has the potential to be iconic, so I guess we have to wait and see
GetToWorkBitch Posted October 11, 2014 #23 Report Posted October 11, 2014 The song isn't iconic to the GP but the phrase "work bitch" seems to be used a lot. However it's not iconic in the same way BOMT, Oops or Toxic would be.
LiaLovesGodney Posted October 11, 2014 #24 Report Posted October 11, 2014 No, not iconic. Catchy and popular in some regards, yes. The term "iconic" is beginning to loose merit, y'all. Not every successful thing she does is iconic. Except for this of course -----> 1
Brian.TheDog Posted October 11, 2014 #25 Report Posted October 11, 2014 it's as iconic as anticipating when it was a single
