I already saw few threads about Britney having an album like Madonna and you know, I would actually die if she recorded something like Bedtime Stories or Ray Of Light. Both albums have many beautiful & stunning songs. Ray Of Light was produced by William Orbit (like Alien) and it's like a one magical & psychedelic experience from another world! Every song is just a piece and all these pieces together make a whole. That's why Ray Of Light is so unforgettable.

Alien was amazing and I actually wish Britney & Orbit would experiment more with this style  :crying1:

Bedtime Stories by Britney could be something like a "bright" version of Blackout. Very personal, but subtle, just like Human Nature.

Forbidden Love is (imo) one of the best songs by Madonna.

 

Britney has so many "dark" masterpieces. She is an angel full of brightness, I wish Godney would give us her ray of light from heaven :)

She already has few songs like this and they are all flawless!

Hooked On (Sugarfall)

 

& also obv Alien, And Then We Kiss or Strangest Love

 

I also see similarities between

I definitely want Britney to keep working with William Orbit! I think he's the one who can help her make this kind of "mystic" songs like Strangest Love, And Then We Kiss and Alien

Yes! And all the remixes of Alien he made were so flawless! It makes me think about the kind of music Britney could make if she kept working with him. I feel like Britney loved Alien too, and I'm sure she'd love to work with him again so let's hope for it! 

We need another And Then We Kiss  :crying1:

Sorry but not at all... DHU,OTW & Sugarfall have urban vibe.. and information "Bedtime Stories" is itself inspired by Janet's album "Janet." tbh I mean it's the first Madonna's album to have some r&b vibes, she released it just after "Janet." was released

 

Anyway i'm not here for a Madonna/Janet debat, I just wanted to correct it

BJ is EDM.

Dance, EDM, trance, electronica, what-the-fuck-ever. That style has become a cliche and Britney does not need to repeat herself in that regard. That style of music isn't timeless or innovative. We all know you love FF, but come on :frenchy:

So do you mean music that can be danced to? Because obviously pop music counts as that. Dance is an actual genre of music that involves EDM and similar sounds, not necessarily pop music.

No. Dance music is an actual genre of music. On satellite radio, there is a station that plays only dance music. It includes edm and electronic sounds as it's standout feature. By your standards, rap is also dance music if it is upbeat and can be danced to. FF counts as dance music because it specifically relies on computerized sounds. NOT because it also counts as pop. The Britney album is not dance music, but it is pop. Just like how a song like WSIBS is pop and R&b. The two are not one in the same. They can be mutually exclusive.
