No. Dance music is an actual genre of music. On satellite radio, there is a station that plays only dance music. It includes edm and electronic sounds as it's standout feature. By your standards, rap is also dance music if it is upbeat and can be danced to. FF counts as dance music because it specifically relies on computerized sounds. NOT because it also counts as pop. The Britney album is not dance music, but it is pop. Just like how a song like WSIBS is pop and R&b. The two are not one in the same. They can be mutually exclusive.

1. rap isn't pop

2. that's true about FF

3. the britney albums IS dance music

4. and WSIBS isn't even close to be Pop

and another thing.... if, according to you, Britney isn't dance. then britney's first dance album is FF

so how 2 dance albums are "too much" while the rest of them aren't dance?!  :zoomzoom:

1. No shit. It's called an analogy. You can still dance to a hip hop song.

3. No, it is straight up pop music.

4. Ok, so it is mostly R&B.

No two Britney albums really sound the same. They are all POP, but all have different influences. FF's mainly being dance, edm, and trance.

Pop does not automatically equal dance music. You can dance to it, but it is not specifically the actual genre of "Dance" music. The genre has subcategories including EDM, Electronica, Trance, House, and Dubstep.

let's look for a second on every album

1. BOMT - pop

2. oops - pop

3. britney - pop

4. ITZ - kinda sexy tracks - easy listening

5. blackout - RnB

6. circus - boring as hell - easy listening

7. FF - DANCE

8. BJ - mostly ballads + a little bit of EDM

so how is 1 dance album too much?  :zoomzoom:

It becomes a bit generic. I just personally would like to see Britney venture into new territories. None of the albums, although all pop, sound exactly alike. I want album 9 to be different as well. Your bias towards FF and edm is your own. Don't project your own preferences onto other people. EDM is cliche in terms of mainstream music. I have a heavy bias towards urban pop, but that doesn't mean I think Britney should do another urban album. I'd love it, but I do want something new and innovative.

And Circus is not boring.

does ITZ sound like FF?

does blackout sound BJ?

does FF sound like Circus?

except BOMT, OIDIA and Britney, they are all different

and i never projected my own preferences onto other people.....  :zoomzoom:

Reading comprehension is needed.

I said:

"None of the albums, although all pop, sound exactly alike"

That means that although all Britney albums are pop, they DO NOT sound exactly alike. I used those commas for a reason.

My goodness....

Autotuned... BUT NOT OVERAUTOTUNED. She sometimes sounds like a robot which is not cool and faded  :boring:

We also want some more subtle instrumentals, without these electro-things.

betch, wake up!!!!!!

she can't sing without OVERAUTOTUNE! just like she can't sing live anymore.

move on!!!!!

the B-army tend to not move on!!! Justin and Britney, Blackout 2.0, singing live, not using autotune...

MOVE ONE!!!!!

she's into Dance and EDM now! just like the rest of the world!

no non-BArmy would want to listen to a RnB Britney song. and not even to ballads.

every era ends with a ballad or a non-dance single.

that's what kills every era!!

MOVE THE FUCK ON!
