Maria Spears Posted October 22, 2014 #26 Report Posted October 22, 2014 Sweetie 2007ney atleast was in sync with the dancers instead of moving faster than the speed of light and being stiffer than iron Hahah true story, but remember that in some parts she was slower than the dancers people thought she was going to fall. I guess its a matter of opinion, when i saw that in 2007 i felt embarrased and bad for britney
Maria Spears Posted October 22, 2014 #27 Report Posted October 22, 2014 She thinks it's bad, WE say it's flawless and Iconic , she just doesn't know that she is doing some basic ass choreo now, and not even doing it good, she is stiff, I want fierceney back and her fierce face tbh and 2007 VMA is Iconic and they will deal tbh I don't understand why people think its iconic in a good way, i think its iconic in a bad-never watch again that performance- way 1
kara Posted October 22, 2014 #28 Report Posted October 22, 2014 Hahah true story, but remember that in some parts she was slower than the dancers people thought she was going to fall. I guess its a matter of opinion, when i saw that in 2007 i felt embarrased and bad for britney I was pissed and was ready to turn in my Stan card b/c even m&mney was better but all these years of basicness makes me appreciate how skilled she still was even during that performance...right now she'd look at that performance and say "idk how I ever performed on the vma stage it's really hard"
kara Posted October 22, 2014 #29 Report Posted October 22, 2014 She still had the element of being a seasoned performer, even during her darkest time. Now Britney, who is happier and healthier, can't be bothered to show true showmanship. Everything looks forced. Like she lost her sex appeal, confidence, dancing abilities (not all, but most). Basically it looks like she has a stick up her ass sometimes and lacks a bit of rhythm. Funnily enough, she occasionally kills it during Toxic (tree and floor part), Slave, and MATM/BO Medley. But then ten seconds later, she moves like a robot again. Like in Toxic, recently when she is in the tree doing the first verse and chorus, she looks AMAZING. But at any other time she's like :iconic2: times ten.

kermit Posted October 22, 2014 #31 Report Posted October 22, 2014 huh what? am i on exhale??? what kinda negative-ass stuck in the past kinda thread is this? 2
kermit Posted October 22, 2014 #32 Report Posted October 22, 2014 She still had the element of being a seasoned performer, even during her darkest time. lmao no she did not 1 1
ValetGirls Posted October 22, 2014 #33 Report Posted October 22, 2014 Ehh, I try not to glamorize 2007 VMAney too much. It was a HUGE mess and she felt absolutely awful after everyone and their mother ripped her apart. Also, there are many times where I prefer exact POMney to fluid Drunken Stuporney Just my 2 cents tho
LiaLovesGodney Posted October 22, 2014 #34 Report Posted October 22, 2014 lmao no she did notShe wasn't afraid. It wasn't a good time in her life, but she wasn't much different than how she is now on stage. More confident, I'd say.
Pop Empress Posted October 22, 2014 Author #35 Report Posted October 22, 2014 lmao no she did not Hunty did you even watch it? It slays Womanizer in POM by far, atleast she dances and not just move her hands around, she looked fierce and hot, she was sassy and had an amazing attitude that POMney doesn't have

Also, there are many times where I prefer exact POMney to fluid Drunken Stuporney Just my 2 cents tho tbh she was fluid and hot in 2007 VMA and she was extremely fierce with a sassy bad girl attitude that POM doesn't have Atleast there was actual choreo not just hands flailing around, but that's your opinion I think I spilled it again
TheSnake Posted October 22, 2014 #37 Report Posted October 22, 2014 The media and tabloids said/say otherwise That is all I'll say. that performance was awkward and she hardly moved. When she did she looked like she didnt have a clue what she was doing 1
Pop Empress Posted October 22, 2014 Author #38 Report Posted October 22, 2014 The media and tabloids said/say otherwise That is all I'll say. that performance was awkward and she hardly moved. When she did she looked like she didnt have a clue what she was doing She was dancing more fluidly and looked more fierce and sassy than POM and her attitude and looks were Iconic, and the Choreo was better than Womanizer's choreo in POM, atleast she wasn't just flailing her arms around, she was actually dancing
Maria Spears Posted October 22, 2014 #39 Report Posted October 22, 2014 I was pissed and was ready to turn in my Stan card b/c even m&mney was better but all these years of basicness makes me appreciate how skilled she still was even during that performance...right now she'd look at that performance and say "idk how I ever performed on the vma stage it's really hard" Noww we are talking girl! M&mney dancing was fierce and on point. To bad the production was cheap as hell and bad outfits.. But that's the best dancing she has done in years 1

It was a HUGE mess and she felt absolutely awful after everyone and their mother ripped her apart. Also, there are many times where I prefer exact POMney to fluid Drunken Stuporney Just my 2 cents tho :tbh: stuporney was just a really bad time for her and for us as fans. Back then when her life was a mess people still praised her performance abilities and then that happened and everything went downhill from then. Amen its over
ValetGirls Posted October 22, 2014 #41 Report Posted October 22, 2014 tbh she was fluid and hot in 2007 VMA and she was extremely fierce with a sassy bad girl attitude that POM doesn't have Atleast there was actual choreo not just hands flailing around, but that's your opinion I think I spilled it again Any choreo Brit was supposed to do failed to materialize on the VMA stage. she half assed the first verse and chorus, dropped out of the bridge choreo, and ended up facing the wrong direction at the end. VMA 2007 shattered the last respectable notion the GP held of Brit: that she's a reliably good performer. The BArmy's self-reflexive declaration that she was being a badass is just a protective measure so we dont have to acknowledge how damagingly bad this was. Real Attitudeney and Choreoney is M+Ms Tourney, not VMA 2007ney. As for flailing of hands: The FFT ended 3 years ago hun. You're dismissed 2
Pokémon Spears Posted October 22, 2014 #42 Report Posted October 22, 2014 VMA 2007 is iconic indeed, for being a disaster. I'm not saying POM is her best tour or her best performances are in there, but just the Lucky performance is a million times better than VMA 2007. Even if we focus in the worst numbers like Slave or Womanizer, they're still better than Gimme More in 07. Which is more, if you like so much that song, just see the GM performance of POM, if that was her performance during the VMA's, it would have probably been one of my favorite moments of her career. Work Bitch, BOMT, OIDIA, BTI, Circus, Toxic, Stronger, they're all billions and billions times better than the 2007 performance. 3
Dragneel Posted October 22, 2014 #43 Report Posted October 22, 2014 IKR!? 2007 VMA is Iconic!! How can anyone hate it, Britney was fierce and powerful in it, she was Role Model for all of those rebellious people, and I love her for being a fierce bitch! I want that ferocious Britney back asap rn!! If you're looking for trouble, you've come to the right place, if you're looking for trouble, look right in ma face! Which 2007 vma performance did you watch? The one that I watched, she was ready to collapse, looked (or was) drugged and she looked like she was ready to burst into tears on stage... 2

You're dismissed Even if it was a mess, in POM she messed way more than 2007 VMA, atleast in 2007 VMA she was in a critical situation and she was harassed by the media and she was rebelling out, but what about POM? POMney is fine and in no shape to be lip synching or half assing and flailing her arms and calling it a "dance" or a "choreography" and she keeps dumbing everything down like she can't do anything, like cutting the Toxic choreography, the Womanizer hand choreo and the work bitch traffic police choreo lets not forget that she no longer arches her back in Slave anymore, and she is stiff as an iron column Atleast 2007 VMAney was fluid and actually did choreo, even if it was little, she wasn't flailing her arms, she was interacting with the backup dancer and she was dancing in sync with them not just dancing way faster than them and calling it a dance, and let's not forget how fierce and sassy she was her attitude was on fire, she was truly Iconic You just can't handle the tea

She is dancing and doing moves like a traffic office, that's the truth hunty tea: spilled

Fierce would have been if she was sitting on a chair giving her back to the audience the whole song. Or making a pole dancing, or bringing JT to the stage to make him her submissive If we could say, oh she did it on purpose because she wanted to quit her career, or send a message to the world and press, but no, the saddest part is that they were trying to make a "good performance". That was supposed to be good, but it wasn't. Which was stupid pretending to do something like that when we all knew Britney wasn't on the best position to make a comeback. 1

The one that I watched, she was ready to collapse, looked (or was) drugged and she looked like she was ready to burst into tears on stage... She was far from looking like she was drugged and she wasn't looking like she was going to burst into tears, she was actually the opposite of that, she was fierce sassy and full of attitude, I think you watched the wrong VMA here we keep on spilling
ValetGirls Posted October 22, 2014 #48 Report Posted October 22, 2014 Even if it was a mess, in POM she messed way more than 2007 VMA, atleast in 2007 VMA she was in a critical situation and she was harassed by the media and she was rebelling out, but what about POM? You mean being guided from dancer to dancer as they reminded her what her choreo was? Sure there's room to improve in POM, but applying delusional revisionist history to one of the most damaging performances on the VMA stage is ridiculous. The only good thing about VMA 2007 is Boobney and that's it 2
Pokémon Spears Posted October 22, 2014 #49 Report Posted October 22, 2014 It's Iconic for being fierce and full of attitude, not just dancing and not loving it or wanting it just to end like POM, and the Work Bitch choreo is good? She is dancing and doing moves like a traffic office, that's the truth hunty tea: spilled The traffic officer moves aren't her fault. Those gay, obnoxious choreographers that they chose are responsible for those ugly moves. She will never look good doing them, because they're not dance moves, they're just strange movements. But at least she's following them and she nails them. That situation won't change until she excercise her authority and make her own moves and choreos. But I have to add, that the lack of attitude, and all of her insecurities on stage, and the fact that she never performed again at the VMA's, are nothing less than a consequence of that horrendous 2007 performance alongside all of her personal issues. 1
