Pom 2.0 (Ideas)

Now that JLo is probably about to hit Vegas at AXIS as Godney, I think is time to change Piece Of Me and make it better. I think Britney has really good ideas, but POM was made so quickly and her and her team hadn’t thought well how to develop better this type of show. Don’t get me wrong, I think is really good, practically because of Britney slaying our lifes with her amazing moves (those we had been missing for a long time), but now that she is going to have someone to compete with (because being realistic, media is going to compare both, and I think we all want something different) it’s time to make changes, these are the changes I would do in my opinion:

• Upgrade and update the stage. Why: some of the fans who haven’t been seated near from Britney say that they couldn’t see well, and I realized that there’s no screens near from the fared seats. I think if AXIS distributes better the seats and adds more, it would be amazing. Also the stage should be more open to the seats that are on the edges and I would add electric platforms, so Britney could make awesome performances there.

 

Talking about the track list and the concept of POM, I would do a POM 2.0 inspired on The Onyx Hotel Tour and the Slave 4 U performance during the VMA’s, I think it would be sexy or something inspired on Gimme More VMA’s performance (it was really sexy in my opinion instead it wasn’t her best), Brethe On Me during Onyx, or Breathe on Me/Touch of my Hand during The Circus Tour and Lace and Lather during FF tour, I think that second idea would really sexy, like a cabaret, funny and sexy.

Guys, stop dreaming. Britney's team is too lazy and so is she. It will be a miracle if we even get some minor setlist changes (not including Perfume swapped with Alien). It's too expensive and too time consuming.

I'm here for this. It needs to be even more spectacular. New costumes (bc the ones now don't do her fantastic body any justice), slightly different setlist, maybe a new title. People are going to compare Jlo's to Brit's as you said. And Britney's show needs to be better.

That stage is solid,, it would take months to rebuild and it would have to be hollow to switch it with J-Lo's stage. Also if POM is having any changes it's because of album 9, her team won't think it's worth it considering the revenue is 1/10th per sold-out show compared to a tour

If the rumour about J LO is true, then Britney should work her ass off and do something, otherwise Jenny will pull her off. Not saying that POM sucks or sth but she should do something more exciting about the show and her performing so Jenny shouldn't be compared with her which will happen anyway but yeah we need some major changes to boost the sales - a promotion video, live exclusive from the show or a new single

I dont think JLo would like to have the same stage, becausse it was made for britney, and if you remember the time when britney was in x factor Jenny wanted more money because Britney was earning more than her, so I dont imagine Jlo in the same stage. The show is good as it is imo. I wouldn't be against some setlist changes, and some props changes tho it's not the most important right now i think.

The most important problem is the live singing imo. That will be the principal difference between J-lo, because she sings live and when she's not, it's prerecorded vocals, so they better pre-record BOMT and the other ones because those 16yo vocals are just ridiculous, and sing the fucking ballads live. And she also needs to have energy a little more constantly.

1) New pre-recorded vocals: the main criticism to this show is lipsync, we all know she is not going to sing but at least change those 15 year old vocals in some songs.

2) Lucky and Alien/Perfume: Live. There's no excuse for lipin' this songs. Simply not acceptable.

3)Costumes: Fire marco marco. Hire Dsquared. Circusney had the best outfits in the world, looked elegant, chic and they fit her incredibly well.

4) Dance: the iconic dance moves of britney like Toxic breakdown should be a part of the show. I want OHT toxic breakdown. Something needs to be done in Crazy breakdown, every single night she looks tired and lazy. They need to change it

5) Sexy: we need breathe on me/ touch of my hand or both. Period.

6) Interaction: Another thing very criticized. Britney needs to watch some old OIDA tour footage and remember how open and connected she was with her audience. She barely speaks in her tours since OHT and it feels kinda dissapointing. No scripts, no "isn't this theater beautiful?". Show some emotion and connection to her fans, during songs she could do her iconic "woah". Flawfree
