Jonte Posted October 23, 2014 #1 Report Posted October 23, 2014 No, it's not Britney or the fantastic stageshow itself... That's a given! No, this is something I've just recently noticed. A few weeks ago, I went to see Lady Gagas Artrave or "The Artpop Ball" to some, and she was so late. Me and my friend who didn't have a hotel, wanted to make it onto the last train home from the concert so we didn't have to sleep outside in the cold. But as the minutes went, we began to realise, either... We see the entire thing and sleep outside, or we miss half of it and go home. Now, the thing about a Britney show that I will always love is... The countdown! She had it on The Circus Starring Britney Spears, Femme Fatale Tour and now with Piece Of Me! It starts at around 60 minutes before the show starts, right as the doors to the arena opens up. That is really great so you know how much time you have to use the restroom, take a smoke, shop or eat! Lady Gaga did not have a countdown on The Monster Ball Tour, Born This Way Ball or Artrave. Justin Bieber did not have a countdown on The Believe Tour. Their shows just start out of the blue with no warning! I think it's really mean to all the fans waiting for hours and hours outside to get to the front row, and then be 2 hours late! Britney is ALWAYS on time, and I think we should give her a round of appleause for that! Thank you Britney! 3
ValetGirls Posted October 23, 2014 #3 Report Posted October 23, 2014 amen and amen. I don't go to big ticket pop concerts but every indie concert starts like 30 mins/hour late while the band recovers from their smoke sesh Brit's so punctual and professional!

I think it's dissrespeciful to the fans for an artist to go anymore than like 10 minutes late...

IKR, I mean, I haven't been in any , but I've watched full footage from the Monster Ball, the BTW Ball and Art rave, and I really don't like it, I know nobody liked the BTW Ball but it's my fav !!

When I went to POM the count down stopped at 10 min. and I was like the show is starting then, what is going on with the screens they were flipping around like crazy, then they stop and 5 minutes later the stage dims itself and the show starts. Don't get me wrong I love the countdown and her punctuality but they should try to make the screens not crash before the show . One show the intro video was the scream and shout backdrop . Just saying.
